  • That's the best South Park ever !

  • Man the romans screwed us so bad ..why couldn't they have just off'd every goddamn christian before say ad 100 so Constatine couldn't use the damn crazy mother phuckers for his political gains and give em realevence. They should have kept those lions fat and happy.Un assumng Christians i'll give a pass the crationist lying scum bags and the evangelical mega church crazies have got to go.Make no mistake they will destroy the USA ..just as radical Islam destroyed the once great Nations it cmae from

  • The problem with abiogenesis is that now there is so much bacteria everywhere a new life form would struggle to form anywhere before it was simply destroyed by competition. You'd need a lot of time in some extremely clean rooms to reproduce the lifeless earth of billions of years ago.

  • i would like to know how the spark of life began and as far as i know, no artificial life has been made yet, not saying we cant do it someday just saying it hasten been done. i think its very important that we understand the mechanics of life and that spark that drives biological life. until then you have only a theory of evolution not a fact. dude where did you find that video? sounds like its from the 1950's.

  • @mechanicalbu11

Just because we haven't made life yet doesn't mean we should automatically assume "goddidit". Also, a theory in the scientific sense is far different from the normal sense. A scientific theory (evolution, heliocentrism, germ theory, atomic theory) is a collected group of facts used to explain an observed phenomenon.

Also, the video was probably made a couple of years ago.

  • @alienisuntverus actually, we have made life

I don't remember where or by whom, but biologists have created synthetic life by inserting synthetic genetic material into an empty cell

  • @leonicc And unfortunately what you're talking about is not Abiogenesis.

  • @mechanicalbu11 Go read up on abiogenesis. It's interesting stuff.

  • @dan012345 i am really trying to accept abiogenesis, but it's going to take more faith then i currently have.

  • @mechanicalbu11 Considering it has evidence to support it and is being tested at the moment, we've produced some of the building blocks of life as far as I am aware, does it not take less faith than magic man in the sky?

Also, I thought "Faith" was seen as a form of virtue by the religious.

  • @mechanicalbu11 The theory of evolution and abiogenesis (i.e. "the spark of life") are independent of each other. The theory of evolution is an explanation of the phenomenon (or fact) of evolution. Similarly, quantum theory was initially developed to explain (the fact of) black body radiation. Facts are observable phenomena whereas theories attempt to explain the facts.

  • @leonicc funny you should mention Black body, i and my friends at the university have been playing with the idea of making a material to defeat laser radiation used by police to catch speeders we think we found the perfect solution, all we must do now is to find some money to do the experiment. we are not to enthused to let the university have our idea so private money will be used.

basic theory is phase cancellation with refractions and absorption of energy.

    PS: evolution = fail.

  • it also say in the bible the earth is a globe i bet you didn't know that.

  • @mechanicalbu11

Can you give a specific verse?

  • @alienisuntverus Isaiah 40:22 in the KVJ it say circle of the earth but others use globe.

"It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;"

  • @mechanicalbu11

If you're taking the bible literally then you'll get the image of a flat circle. Much like a table top.

  • @alienisuntverus Actually i think the bible writers got confused and started to describe discworld.

  • @alienisuntverus @mechanicalbu11 , the word in the original hebrew from which the King James Bible is translated, is "חוּג". It's definition is not globe, it's circle. A 2 dimensional shape, not a 3 dimensional shape.

  • @alienisuntverus Tell us about the Atheist's Steady State Theory saying the universe is eternal. And how a Christian Cardinal came up with a counter argument saying it isn't. And they mocked it, calling it the Big Bang Theory. Silly Christians, they're so stupid and their thoughts on the universe having a beginning and an end :)

  • @SongBirdJesusFreak

Until there was evidence for a beginning of the universe, it was crazy. A christian could have wrote extensively on DNA, relativity, and global warming but no one would have believed him unless he provided evidence (and quoting bible verses is far from it).

  • @alienisuntverus We actually had a LOT of evidence for the Big Bang Theory before the discover of Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation in the 70's. But no man, you can't listen to those dumb ole' Christians. Seriously, I don't have any idea why Atheists on YouTube talk so much trash about people who believe in God.

  • @SongBirdJesusFreak

You want to tell us what that evidence was or do you want to just type down nonsense?

  • @alienisuntverus

here's a link with all the evidence you need.

    lmgtfy(dot)com/?q=Evidence+for+the+Big+Bang

  • @mechanicalbu11

Pythagoras said that the earth was round long before the bible..... plz make sure u look for information before making such stupid claims

  • @sl3ya44

Pythagoras date of birth — 570 BC,

The Book of Isaiah was written between 701 and 681 B.C.

Isaiah 40:22: It is he that sitteth upon the globe of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts: he that stretcheth out the heavens as nothing, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.

i just googled this, your comment is in vain.

  • @mechanicalbu11 alienisuntverus comment wasn't though, if you take it literally that describes a flat circle.

  • @AholeAtheist in the Douay-Rheims Bible the direct Hebrew translation in Issiah 40:22 is globe you cant get a flat circle from a globe.

  • @mechanicalbu11 Well fair enough if that is the case. But that brings forth another issue. If the God of the Bible did exist then in his omnipotence he would not have allowed for mistranslation of his sacred word. Especially the way the Bible tells it.

  • @mechanicalbu11 it use to say circle, than people changed it to say globe because they know that the bible ws wrong and cant accept this, its basic religious thinking, if the facts disagree with the book than change thje facts

  • @alienisuntverus "It is he that sitteth upon the globe of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts: he that stretcheth out the heavens as nothing, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in."

  • @mechanicalbu11 What you are talking about is Abiogenesis. The fact we don't know how Abiogenesis occurs doesn't discredit or debunk Evolutionary theory in any way. They are two seperate things.

  • @mechanicalbu11 A circle isn't a sphere. This is a modern interpretation which is not supported by original translations
