  • wait, what does a VSTi actually do? sorry im clueless.

  • OMG. VST with a Casio weighted controller ? Haven't thought about that. Thanks!

  • @hoan999999 Yep it does save the price and cost, although it's still fairly expensive. But not as expensive as actually buying a good piano upright. The VST saves wonders, and the Casio is a pretty good substitute, it has a nice touch, only thing I dislike is the sustain is not as long as I would like it to be.

  • @CheonHoPark Well, with that inspired, I'll trade my DGX-630 for a PX-830 and hook 'em up to Ivory Italian Grand. See u in the uchoob theater.

  • Also.. Ivory is the best! It is my go-to plugin :) Always find myself going straight for the Studio Grand 8 preset heh

  • Hey man love your playing and your original compositions are great! What do you think of the privia px-130..? I have been eye balling that as my first digital piano to replace my midi controller for piano parts. How do the keys feel?

  • @Designedbydeath Hi, thanks! I really like this piano, it has great touch and feel. The only down play is that the sustain of the notes are a little short than I would like when played with the piano, but can be fixed with a good VSTI. Other than that this is a great piano for beginners, and is on the cheaper price range. Good luck!

  • hi man great performance!

and what sound card do you use to get no latency for playing libraries??

  • @MrMusicopath This one actually had latency in it, I just had to sync the audio and video. But to prevent the latency I know use the soundcard ASIO4ALL. Hope this helps, CHP.

  • @CheonHoPark Not to jerk your balls, but 'ASIO4ALL' is just a driver. And yeah, ASIO4ALL works wonders with MIDI devices.

    Just for clarification's sake.

  • HI, this is Ursula from HOng KOng. I got this PX130 as well, I want to record music and make a video like you ( sound and movie). How can i do this , should i get some software? I have a usb cable and i can connect my keyboard to my macbook, wt is the next step, pls tell me , thx

  • @man1993113 There are various programs for mac, but the programs i use are Ivory VSTI and Cubase.

  • @CheonHoPark but can i input music that i recorded into macbook by using the usb cable?

  • @man1993113 Yes you can. With the proper USB cable.

  • just picked up mine today for £350 i'm well chuffed, btw you're awesome on the keys keep rockin' :)

  • @LSundal790 Thanks! It's a great piano! Happy piano playing to you as well =)

  • Yay... no more cheesy detuned piano sounds... cuz you seriously ROCK this time...

  • Wow i remeber playing ff10 and everytime yuna died in a battle i would start crying lol but thats when i was 10 im 13 now but i still laugh at myself til this day

  • Kyle how do you keep your collection books open like that? Do you and Travis full rape the binders of the books? D:

Seems like such a shame, I don't want to damage them, but it's annoying when I want to play something ;(

  • @kupOnut11 Haha I remember those days of my clean pristine FF PC books. I actually got really upset when my piano teacher opened the binder. But after my dog chewed them up I sort of cared less and beat the shit out of them. Yep you could say I raped the binder Lyna -O)

  • wow..your so freakin talented i luv teh song so much...supper fab.

  • Holy crap! Damn good skills on the keys my friend.

  • Great piece all around, I must congratulate you. You can always turn something I have heard before into something that far surpasses my expectations. I like the somewhat digital-acoustic sound that the new Casio puts out(Also wondering when you got it). And as always I am envious of your Piano skills>_< . I hope nothing but the best for you and Mai Xiong. So this video gets 5-5 stars, two thumbs way up and any other positive clichés you can think up

  • @chdk082289 Thanks Clayton, long time no see!

    How have you been?

  • @CheonHoPark Been doing as well as one can be :P , still kinda mad that I had to make a gmail account just to hop on youtube, but I will survive google's BS just as I always have, how have you been doing man

  • @chdk082289 Yeah it's pathetic! I had to do that as well!

Just a market for Google's ploy, I been all right, just going to school in computers.

  • Great job. Expect a more descriptive comment once I'm off this iPhone:p

  • Great playing as usual :D

  • hey u play beautifully :) may I just ask, i noticed you playing without the stand, have you plugged your own separate sustain pedal in the back? I'm considering buying this piano to play on stage and cannot be bothered with carting the original stand around. xxx

  • @peafi Hi, yes you can buy this piano without the stand. It does come with one sustain pedal with it as well, which is what I use with the VSTi.

  • @peafi I was looking at my old comments sorry for the late response, and probably so late you forgot. I actually bought the stand with the sustain pedal. When I bought another Casio (couldn't share with my bro no more, he's a piano hog). The price is significantly more expensive though, I think the Stand alone cost around 100 dollars.

  • @CheonHoPark But you also can buy a portable stand which is cheaper, and makes more sense especially if you want to play on stage.

  • Are you using Ivory I or II?

  • @fegde This was recorded before with Ivory I. I just installed Ivory II with the free update.

  • @CheonHoPark For free? I had to pay for the upgrade...I'm loving the 18 velocity layers.

  • You absolutely nailed this! Well done, a very enjoyable performance =D

  • @okamitherisingsun Thank you very much... amazing what a good keyboard and vsti can do to the performance =D

  • how much was it?

  • @carmel1891 This digital piano was about 500 dollars, Cubase was about 250 dollars. Just to let you know the sound coming from the keyboard is not the true actual sound rather I am using a program to convert it into a better sounding grand. But it's still a very nice digital piano, the only problem with is the reverb. A lot of people were saying they like the Yamaha digital better. But I tried those and I did not like the soft touch very much.

  • @CheonHoPark actually cubase 6 is most likely 500.00 Ivory is 270, don't forget the cost of the camera, and the cost of the recording software.

  • You're korean correct Kyle? Since your girlfriend is Mai Xiong... is she Hmong by any chance? Hahahah.... I've been following you since almost the beginning, and I'm Hmong too!!! =D I was just wondering lol..... NICE VIDEO gee dawg.

  • @oceanbluboi hahahaha, yep she's hmong, Mai's a very common name. And yep I am Korean, but adopted, so mainly American cultured. Thanks for watching!!!

  • :O So you hooked this up to your PC? When I record using my digital and play it back on the piano, it's a bit crap, so I never tried with a PC. :S Great job, nice to see you back with some videos!

  • @nelsyeung Yes sir you need to get a music program that you can record the sound. I use VSTI Ivory which probably is the best grand piano sound available. And thanks for the comment =)

  • *envy* i want your piano. =/

  • @carmel1891 It's a great piano, but is best using a VSTI converter, using Ivory sound =D

  • i thought your name was travitz and you had schizo....oh

  • @ryancouture Nope that's my twin brother his name is Travis, I'm Kyle =P

  • bravo my man! still a fan of yours bro.

  • @lloydxlomentigar Thanks for watching!!!
