  • lololloloololoololololololoollolol 1000 watt psu to run a 295 ASUS RAMPAGE2EXTREME LOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLO

  • Are the 3 top fans intake or exhaust?

  • +1 for Rammstein logo! ;)

  • nice video m8 i wanty ask u how u get the lcd poster(from ur rog asus m/b)all time with the light thank u!

  • @LeresMovieTeam there is a setting in the BIOS i cant remember what exactly it is but you should be able to find it.

  • @themadman697 Thank u m8 i search and i found it thank you!!!:P

  • How much did your rig cost?

  • blue & black forever!

  • @chubaka1992 haf x is the ugliest case i have ever seen

  • @themadman697 depends on ur taste, if you like smooth ass cases, this is gr8, if u like bad ass looking (like me =) HAF X is the way to go

  • A bit overkill with 1000w PSU and I don't understand why you don't have it watercooled. It's not a very good chassis for air cooling, but a king for water. Your Noctua cooler would have been a lot better off in a Antec1200 (I speak of experience, trust me).

  • @Arkhei0sthe cooler is an asus trition 88. i was planning on water cooling the whole thing but i can’t be bothered at the moment its too much trouble if you have to change parts which i probably will when the next gen of Intel sockets come out at the end of the year. I have a coolit eco on my CPU now it that does the job.

  • Very, Very Nice Cable Management

  • Update xD but great, great PC!

  • Update xD

  • Can you please tell me what model is that indicator on the front on the case? Is it thermal monitor? Thank you!!

  • @cartic Akasa AK-FC-03 Fan Controller Pro

  • @themadman697 Thank you!!!

  • I was looking at the obsidian 800d and I was wonder (I'm not the most computer hardware literate) If I was going to use 3 top fans plus the built in fans, do I need to use a fan control to supply power to all of them or does a motherboard have enough plug ins for all of them?

  • @kennyb010 the fans i got came with 3 pin and 4 pin headers so you could use the 3 pin and plug them all into your motherboard if it has enough connectors or you could just use the 4 pin molex ones and connect them to your power supply. that's what i would do if i didn't have a fan controller.

  • Hey, just wanted to say AWSOME build! I see u got the air flow going ^^ keep it up man. Oh one more thing, Could you be so kind and sent me your background pic to :Codebreaker@live.se Thank you mate :)!

  • @sweetboy118 tks man. check out my video called Cool Abstract HD Wallpapers and there is download link to a load of good wallpapers and its in there

  • @themadman697

How is your video card temp's .since i see you are running stock cooling ,i would like to know the temps in idle and load. I am considering to buy but little worried about air cooling rumors.

    thanks in advance

  • everything looks good but I think the graphics needs an update to dx11 :P

  • oh wow, you went all out on this haha

  • What fans are you using on the top 3 spots?

  • @InvalidUserIDx they are Akasa 120mm. not 100% sure on model. i think they are Akasa AK-274CB-4BLS

  • does the case come with the 1000 watt ps?

  • @Baker11101 no you gota get psu separate

  • How is that key-board working out for you? I am thinking of buying it in a few weks

  • @Tryshaaa I had problems with the touch screen not working at times and sometimes some of the keys stoped working and you have to plug it out and back in again so i got a logitech g19. but apart from that it was good. i would say logitech is more reliable. its up to you. might just have been a bad one that i got.

  • how is the airflow in that case (with your SETUP) cuase i heard that the airflow is not great om the Corsair 800D

    sry bad english

  • @anessabanovic its not as good as my last case, antec 1200 but it does the job and its nice and quite.

  • Looks good, not to many people have impressive air cooled 800D's but your looks good nice work. Music ain't bad either lol

  • What fans did you use for the top of the case?

  • @bssb12398 they are Akasa 120mm. not 100% sure on model. i think they are Akasa AK-274CB-4BLS

  • lol 1k W is overkill, 650w/550w would be better..

  • Nice rig. And thats what i call cable management.

  • 1000watt???? thats totall overkill.

  • @Diamondus123 Why do you brag about it! Are you jealous?! He might be thinking on some extra video cards, have you ever thought about that?!

  • nice rig!

  • WOW you're the only one with that fan controller I've seen on youtube but me! Nice rig!

  • epic man i want tht case so bad ;p

  • your operating system sucks!!! stupid windows!

  • how much did you spend in all that?

  • GIMMe YOUR PC!! :D

  • oh my god your computer is fucking badass by the way! put another graphics card in that thing and you'll never need a new pc EVER lol

  • look how fucking gigantic the case is haha it makes the 24 inch monitor look tiny

  • <333333333333

  • hate that music

  • How do you like that monitor? I am thinking about buying one.

  • @chambs1 its a fantastic monitor the colors are great. i have two other samsung SyncMaster 2433 24" TN monitors next to it and the difference between the two is massive. I Would say that it is one of the best IPS panels in it's price range.

  • RAMMSTEIN!

  • Awesome rig!

What fan controller are you using?

Also, what's ur opinion on watercooling vs heatsink?

    Thanks!

  • @elander86Akasa AK-FC-03 Fan Controller Pro. well i changed from the Asus triton 88 to a coolit eco liquid cooler and it is about 7c lower at 100% load. a high end air cooler would be just as good. it is just up to yourself to decide because the performance is about the same as high end air cooling sometimes even better.

  • @themadman697 Sweet, I dont know anything about air cooling. Could you link me something? THANK YOU

  • What fan controller? =) Awesome rig!

  • that has to be the best case ever build so far?

  • Liking the corsair :D

    What cooler?

  • @kesssen asus triton 88

  • song name?

  • @bananskalet1

Tiesto- Escape Me (Off the Kaleidoscope album).

  • Beautiful,...

  • dude that case is the case of GOD COMPUTER

but that wallpapers is of RAMMSTEIN LOL

GOD CASE + RAMMSTEIN = AWESOME

  • Awesome build!! The Rammstein logo really puts it over the top, lol nice

  • link me to your wall paper?lol

  • Nice Build, now if you could only get rid of those curtains. LOL !

  • @spearmintmonkey haha that would be too much trouble

  • Those top fans blowing in or out?

  • Obsidian si very nice case with perfect coolink + cable management.. nice.. 5/5

  • @StasisStudio on the left is a netowork

drive with my wireless router on top of it lol.

i have a way bigger desk now thank god.

that one was way too small.

  • Could you show the cable management in the back of the case? How did you wire the fans in the back of the case? I am getting this case and I really like the idea of 3 top fans as the lighting for the case.

  • love this case, i'm getting one on wednesday :D just cannot wair to put my rig into this black beauty :D

  • @xain91 good choise. the case is great

and it has sound insulation. you can only

    barely hear it running.

  • Just got it yesterday, I love everything about this case, it's so... black :D. All I'm waiting for are UV fans (should get delivered today or tomorrow). I'll make add a video when I finish building my rig. :)

  • @xain91 ill check that out when you

    upload it

  • cool =D

  • cool =D

  • nice rig bro check my rig :P

  • ya i checked it out and i subed. that is one hell of a rig. i have 5970 black edition and eyefinity now too :)

  • Just got my 800d today

makes my motherboard look like a mini atx Lol

  • How did you connect the top x3 120mm fans? Did you connect them with 3-pin connector or did you convert it to 4-pin molex connectors and directly connect them to the PSU?

  • i have them connected to a fan controller using 3 pin but for you the best way is prob to connect them to the 4 pin molex if u got the connectors.

  • How did you connect the top x3 120mm to your motherboard? I'm a newbie with building a computer, this is first time. Did you connect them with the 3-pin or did you convert them to 4-pin molex and directly connect them to your PSU?

  • are those separetely bought or so they come in a package of 3 as in linked together?

  • i bought them separate

  • How did you connect the top x3 120mm fans? Did you connect them with 3-pin connector or did you convert it to 4-pin molex connectors and directly connect them to the PSU?

  • im in love with this case

i must get it for my rampage 2 extreme ;)

  • Awesome pc, what is your fan controller?

  • Akasa AK-FC-03 Fan Controller Pro

  • why do you have a 1000w? lol

  • so if i want to add in another gpu i will have anough wattage

  • is there any use for that if u only play games? do you only play games?

  • i do it for the braging rites and games Xd :P

  • you wont run two gtx295's with 750w and if you do you are pushing it

  • dude , i only have a q6600 and 1 gpu and i have a 1kw psu lol

  • lol you could run that on a 700w or mabey 600w

  • Are the three fans on top blowing air out? I have two fans on top blowing air out but they produce so much vibration. Any suggestions for other fans or solutions? Thanks

  • mabe get slower spinning fans. the three top fans on mine are all pushing air out. i am not sure what fans i have. they are Akasa but i dont no the model number. i dont know that much about fans but i think that Fractal Design make really good ones but they dont light up

  • Nom nom nom love the management in this case :)

  • Now that's a CLEAN setup! :)

  • whats the song?

  • tiesto - escape me (feat._cc_sheffield)

  • yea i checked alot of reviews so i'm gona stay with with my antec 1200

  • hows the airflow in this case im looking at reviews but im still wondering if its worth it.

  • airflow is not great it is really designed for liquid cooling. i find that i have to take the side pff if i am playing a high powered game like crysis. so if you dont plan on liquid cooling it may not be the best choice.

  • I have this case now and I have a problem with the hotswap power connector cover. The wire mess behind prevent me from putting on the cover.

  • clean up the mess lol

  • What are the 3 fans up there called?

  • What are the 3 exhaust fans at the top? The blue is a nice touch.

  • Pretty good job setting it up.

  • Please remove the 2 top fans and make watercooling.

  • will u give me the money :)

  • @themadman697 Very nice pc, great desktop wallpaper too, what site did you get that from?

  • Actually it's a mid-tower case

  • that case is not mid tower it is huge. way bigger than my last antec 1200 which was full tower

  • What is the exact name of the tri-fans on top the case?

    Thanks

  • lol is that wireless router any good? im thinkin of gettin it..

  • @militant123 ya i find it good. my fav thing about it is that it tells you your download and upload speed.

  • nice....is it fast? reliable? etc...

  • this case is the best.

  • is it a full or mid sized case

  • @XenoPhobic321 Oh is a full/big case

  • ha we had those curtains lololol

  • NICE CURTAINS

Where can I buy some like those?

  • haha it was a dining room so that is y i got the shitty curtains and pink walls. just cant be bothered to change them lol

  • what fan controller is that

  • Akasa AK-FC-03 Fan Controller Pro

  • whats the case man???

  • Corsair Obsidian 800D

  • hey with those top 3 blue LED fans are they intaking or exhausting air????

  • exhausting

  • sweet. Awesome rig im going to be purchasing one similar. Also, do you have the rear fan exhausting or intaking??? Soz if i am bugging u xD

  • i think it would be safe to say it's exhausting for the simple reason that the cpu is air cooled

  • Anyone know the song name?

  • tiesto - escape me (feat._cc_sheffield)

  • THX epic song

  • omg i'm using the very same screensaver :O

  • @hugthekkk and the same cpu cooler (A)

  • I wish that I had the money to build something like this. I've always wished that I'd win the lottery some day... no luck so far. :\

    Very nice setup. :)

  • Nice Tiesto remix. Where can I get this remix?

  • nice rig!!

  • nice rig. i really wanna get the case because of the cable Management .. u should diff. run Sli. 1000w psu lol . your pc is not utilaizing it all. i have a 850 psu with lotta stuff. but dont get me wrong. like your rig. good stuff man. lates

  • ya i was planing on it. but i dont no when that will happen lol. my next move may be an ati card because of eyefinity. but i wont be putting any more money into it for a while now.

  • ive also changed all the 140mm fans to Xigmatek XLF-F1453 140mm Case Fans, so iam getting plenty of air coming up from the bottom through the filter. to my chipsets . with NO dust in my system.

  • Wicked PC

  • nice rig by the way themadman697. 5 *

  • very nice good job

  • Nice looking setup, I plan to buy this case this December and plan to use fans only I'm curious are the top fans bringing in air or exhausting it ?

  • exhausting air. but you could turn them around if u wanted. case is quite in comparison to my old antec 1200 but cooling is not as good.

  • Thanks for the heads up. I'll do the same and install top fans for exhaust and the rear 120mm to bring in more air and flip the cpu heatsink to shoot air up hopefully that will help. Thanks dude

  • That's exactly how you're supposed to do it, make the rear 120 intake and 1 to 3 top exhaust.

I don't know why corsair didnt just do this as a default, now you have to invest in a dustfilter as well, unless you want your 800d filled with dust and dirt.

Another thing is you might want to change the two 140mm intake fans, the corsair fans are very quiet and ofcourse silence fans dont move that much air, so If I were you (and kinda I am cause im also buying this case in December) then I would spend

  • a few quid on some fans.

  • Thanks Itsjustagame Its funny i just bought some Antec fans including ones to replace the stock ones with the case and some three pin extensions in case of short wires so im prepping up for December thanks for confirming what im planning for fan placement.

  • Dont mention it mate :-)

How many extensions cables (and how long) are you ordering?

Im getting some extensions cables and adapters as well, but I dont know how many and how long they should be.

They only vary between 30cm and 60cm, I was thinking of getting two of each (already have two og each), but I dont know if it will be enough, I might have to link some extentions together giving that the rear fan should reach from the rear to the front.

Do you know if there are any effects in linking

  • the cords together?

Say If I made an extension cable that was 150cm, would I lose any performance? So maybe my fan would only be running at 90%?

Sorry for bumping you with all these questions but I get so excited whenever im talking about this case :-P

  • Hey whats up Itsjustagame good question I went with 120mm antecs because i used those to replace the stock fans on my thermaltake armor the exhaust fan 3 pin connector reached on a burnt fan controller i was using and that was about 12 - 14 inches so i went with 60 cm extension in case i decide to get another fan controller and anticipating the extra size of the 800d

  • No problem Itsjustagame Antecs 120mm have a pretty good reach i used one on a thermaltake armor exhaust and it reached my fan controller with no problem, i went with 60cm extension just to be safe and yes the longer the cable the weaker the power but power supplies crank enough juice you wont even notice at least in my expeience.

  • i think ul find the rear is a 140mm exhaust not intake , an the 120mm x3 at the top are designed for a rad exhaust, all the air coming in comes from the bottom through the dust filter. thats how mines set up.

  • I Know the rear is an exhaust, though its better to turn it around and make it an intake and use the top as exhaust.

Thats how they designed the H50, to draw in cool air from the rear and exhaust it at the top.

  • u dont understand how this case works , the cold air it brought in from the bottom through the dust filter then rises up , if the back fan was sucking in, It would just go straight up through the top pointless job.and sucking in dust an fluff at the same time.

  • I dont understand how it works?

    Oh I think I do :-)

Everyone who I have been talking to who has this case has had their rear exhaust turned around to an intake.

If you watch the 5 clip review from overclock3d you'll see and hear that it is best to make the rear an intake.

I dont understand how this case works? Hahahaha :-D You are one funny man captain cuss cuss...

  • ya i no that would be better but if i put the back fan as intake i would have to take off the cpu cooler and turn it around so it would blow air into the case. which i couldnt be bothered doing at the moment that is why i left it as exhaust

  • your bottom fans are intakin cool air but the only thing your exhausting air out is that back rear case?
