I had just moved into this garage apt & told the landlord I would paint it for 2 months rent. He agreed & bot the paint. I went inside, opened da windows & cranked up my ESCAPE album..Climbed up to the 2nd floor , singing, bouncing on da ladder & painting. making good time, I guess I got a lil carried away & got to the front corner of the garage apt & forgot (dont laugh) LOL I was on a stupid ladder. Walked right of it, boom..broke my wrist LOL
It's easy to get lost in Journey~Steve Perry. "The Voice" amazing as it is, you can get lost in it no matter what you are doing. :) I hope you're done painting!

But I can't seem to get the image of you singing and jiving around to Steve and forgetting you were on that ladder. Escape is my favourite Journey with Steve album.I know from experience it is extremely easy to get carried away whenever 'The Voice' is singing my friend!!!

@daspudster01 Steve definitely has loads of admirers. I doubt Arnel Pineda or all the New Journey members put together now for that matter would have as many fans/admirers as Steve. does even now.

They had JSS rocking for them before...but Neal fired him & they went back to SPs voice imitators again...
Maybe Neal could get inspired & start shredding something like rap or such?

I've talked to some after they went to the new concerts & they told me LOL..if you just close your eyes..you can see Steve up on stage & with a lil imagination you can hear him too...

@daspudster01 What is the point of paying good money for a ticket if you have to close your eyes to imagine Steve on stage instead of it being Arnel? Just do like I do and countless others on YT and watch videos like this one and you have the 'real deal' right in front of you.That is better than any New Journey conceryt now.There is no need to close your eyes and imagine. I never got the chance to see Journey with Steve.I would never pay money to attend any New Journey concert if they toured NZ.

I do find myself listening to a lot of SP's solo stuff and his era more than any other, but I'll put the Revelation or Arrival CD or DVD on when it strikes me to do so. Of course I'd rather see SP out front, but if that's not going to happen, I'll take Arnel, Soto or Augeri. It's about the music for me. I've seen Journey with Arnel 3 times already and had a great time at each show. The Escape show was the best concert I've EVER been to though. :)
