  • The city looked a lot dirtier and grittier in those days, but it's surprising how little has changed in some respects. The home-movie cameraman even makes the same mistakes that amateur cameramen make today. Still, it's a great film—looks like the producer went to a lot of effort to make it look nice, and he succeeded.

  • Sans les sous-titres et le décomptage ce serait beaucoup mieux ! Quel gâchis !

  • Chez Patachou was opened by the singer Patachou, a.k.a. Henriette Ragon, with the help of Maurice Chevalier in 1948 - so that helps to date this great little movie.
