  • I'd rather see her drop it in a safety course than wind up on on a crash compilation wheelie-ing into a wall after getting 10 seconds of instruction from her brother-in-law.

  • she was going to fast to make that turn anyway

  • @stevemostwanted I disagree. I'm not sure what this test is but in the UK during the 'Big Bike' motorcycle test you're required to do a similar swerve task that you must be going at least 50kmph during. She simply just slammed on the front brake while leaning slightly and locked it up. Look at her technique throughout the task and see - she doesn't even have her hand on the brake lever then suddenly yanks it in. My guess is she was thinking too much about avoiding the cones.

  • too much front brake at a slow speed,ya lock up the front wheel and down ya go...plop

  • maybe she thought it was a car when she moved her right foot off the peg and full forced that rear brake. practice panic braking to learn what the rear brake does to you. just remember before your rear end meats the front, release the brakes and the bike naturally wants to go in a straight line as long as you have some speed.

  • fat useless bitch

  • I hope that she got back on and went in to get her full licence.

  • maybe a vespa would be better for her.

  • 1:08 people

  • Well, it so happens that I finished on top of my class and it was a man that did exactly the same thing this woman did in the video. So gender has nothing to do with it, but thanks for sharing your ignorant comment.

  • at 2:20 is the cause of why she went down… she hit the front brakes while in a turn

  • what is so bad, is that run she just did was the LAST exercise we had to do in our class, and if u passed that spot (swerving around a "buss") then you were gold… Failing by dropping a bike one time is total bull crap…

  • It only happened because she forgot the basics, don't grip your front brake with the front wheel turned.you can see as soon as she swerves she grabs the front brake at 1:10 or 2:18 for slow-mo.This is the number one reason why everyone should take a riding class so this doesn't happen to their new bike ;)

  • people shouldnt be ripping on her. yea it was kinda a dumb spill and she needs more practice but a least she was trying and if you dont try you just fail anyways.

  • you don't have to show me this twice, i dropped my bike twice on the same day when i took my first ever msf class. ( the fact that i hadn't sleep for 2 days might be a factor but fall is a fall).

  • And she's not "driving" she is riding, or was trying to anyway.

  • It's to bad that she crashed, when I took this class a year ago, I had so much fun. I took it as a refresher , having been out the riding game for a while.

  • So, where's the kitchen in this video, and why isn't she in it? lol

  • She would have been fine if she didn't apply the front brake WHILE leaning!

  • haha slowest spill ever, still trying to work out how she messed that up. front brake ??

  • Get back on your horse and do it again.

  • Keep grabbing that front brake on a turn you dusty old hag

  • Am i the only one who thinks the instructors were pretty ignorant and idiotic? I mean look at the response of the guy who came over first. He was more concerned about getting the bike to safety than the lady it seemed. Poor girl made a mistake, in TRAINING. How're we meant to learn if we don't have a few problems? And I agree with other posters, shouldn't have let her go away. Calm her down, get her back on the bike and get rid of the shock. Bad instructors is an understatement.

  • @neoverine  right on!

  • wait was she trying to counter steer

  • @mikey2242 Yeah i think so but she hit the front brake lol

  • @kx85kid12 ahhhhhh. it sucks when you fail something

  • Get back up and continue. Dont stress, you got to go down its part of riding, you have to accept that and get back up and keep going. She is taking it too hard, they should have got her right back on, for at least 2hrs more after that, just slow and easy but get back on if your not hurt.

  • Breaking while leaning or turning is a no no (as u clearly see) and too much break at that.

  • i took the course not to long ago and one of the major things they taught was never to break while cornering, she simply got flustered and forgot. Making the course mandatory in most states is an excellent law. And you are a douch bag for saying "this aught to be good". Every bike at the course was dropped atleast twice before i rode them so dropping is fairly common. Nobody dropped in my class however

  • MSF? These courses and instructors sux anyway.

  • Easy on her folks, after all it is a female driver..

  • A fistfull...then a FACEFULL!!!

  • This is crazy..A first time on a bike should be, just ticking over, clutch in select first, slowly let cluch out till student gets the feel of bite point, back in repeat a few times, then add some revs, moving forward slowly then clutch in repeat a few times, and just get feel of clutch / throttle, after a while get moving and bring in back brake, then when confident changing to 2nd gear and doing straight braking on front brake, and feeling weight move forward, then off front brake & turn

  • I saw a lady biker during cbt, lost control, skidded, bouced off hedge, bike straighted up, she then yanked on front brake did a huge stoppie, back wheel bounced down, and she did a huge tank slap. engine was revving like hell, everone shouting pull clutch in, she finally got the thing to stop, after riding onto a football pitch.....all turned out well as she passed the cbt... but then crashed into the back of the instuctor during her direct access course, sending him spralling into a roundabout

  • @2000gpg I lol'd. My brother had a small hiccup on his CBT, too much revs and too much clutch engagement coming from a turn, the bike jerked, he lost his grip with his left hand then proceeded to narrowly miss hitting me and the other kid's bikes before regaining control and stopping as he hit a kerb. One second slower reactions and he'd of been ploughing directly into a hedge behind said kerb. Still passed though, makes you wonder if you can actually fail a CBT, lol.

  • When i was driving my motorcycle license, there was both men and women and the track tho took just little bit too much of front brake and went down, my trainer commented everytime "and again, thats how they learn" and yes, thats how it is. Fail and learn.

  • @qettyz Trial and error is one way to learn. Studying on what to and NOT to do is also another way of learning :D. Some people just feel they need to learn the hard way.

  • little too much front brake!

  • I still do not believe that it is entirely incorrect, but thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure because I never rode a sport bike, (i'm on a harley) but isn't using the front brake on a turn at high speeds that causes "tank slapping"? I know the training that I have been to, they said not to use the front brake. I know at low speeds, press in the front brakes and the bike tends to go down. I did hear that using both brakes cab be done.

  • @ride4ever3537 Don't listen to him - it's never a good idea to brake in a corner, because the bike will stand up, and if you're on the inside lane, that means head-on in to the other lane, or in the ditch if you're in the outside lane. Tank slappers occur on sport bikes because of the steep rake of the fork (almost vertical), it doesn't matter which brake you use, it's the angle of the fork related to the ground - almost all newer sport bikes have dampers to stop this.

  • @ride4ever3537 One of the reasons why you shouldn't brake hard in a corner is this. If while in the turn you are using, let say, 60% of the tires grip capacity and you apply the brake which adds an additional 50% to the total tires capacity, you are now at 110% and down you go.

  • This is a great video showing why you should never aply the front brakes when negotiating a turn. Once applied, you will go down.

  • @ride4ever3537 Entirely incorrect. For someone who has never ridden a motorcycle before, it's as good rule of thumb to never brake in a corner. For someone who has ridden for years, there's no harm in braking in a corner and even up to the apex (called trailbraking, which can be done with either or both brakes).

  • Why dont you grow up and have some more self respect for people instead of laughing at them when ever they make a mistake

  • Just let it go ...

  • too much front brake.

  • @yami700thumper Too much? You shoulddd never apply the front brakes when negotiating a turn. If anything, lightly apply the rear brakes, but never the front brakes.

  • @ride4ever3537 good job bud.

  • Why is it that there are so many nasty shits laughing at some one falling down on a bike.

Especially if some of you are fellow bikers.

  • @minatormyth They're not fellow bikers. They're kids that think they know how to ride a motorcyle because they can do a super awesome jump off a speed bump

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHHHAHAHAHA!!!

  • some people just really need to stay the fuck off two wheels...

  • Wow! Glad to see she didn't get hurt, and I hope this doesn't discourage her from learning to ride.

  • @twin1010101010 - when you grow up I hope someone shows this comment to you and you have the good grace to be ashamed of yourself.

  • OMG IS THE BIKE OK

  • @bikerbhoy1888 I HOPE SO D:

  • Using your front brake when your wheel is turned isn't the best idea.

  • Going way to fast, turn too sharp and too much front break, then low side. My wife dumped it 2x during class. They say that there are those who have crashed and those who will. I hit sand 3 years ago on a left turn, so that is done. 35,000 miles and nothing major so far.

  • @twin1010101010 lol.

  • She walked back to the kitchen?

  • My heart goes out to her. I hope she has another go. Are they actually teaching her or just telling her what to do next? Are they teaching a group of riders? I think she'll a little one-to-one attention to get her confidence back.

  • @twin1010101010 Just to let you know, your comment is neither funny nor appropriate. It's just sexist. There's tons of guys who think they're so awesome but they ride like assholes and crash and as a result raise the insurance rates for you and me.

  • @unhommeetranger it's still an odd looking kitchen......

  • Well this is how people learn, get over it, when i took the msf course i started out horrible stalled many times almost dropped the bike a few times, but in the end i ended up passing with 14 points if i remember correctly, for some people it just takes a little practice

  • This made me feel pretty damn sad, for some reason I can't help but think of my mum being on that bike, and her reaction is just plain distressing for me. I really hope she gives it another go, everybody falls at one point or another, and it would suck if she just stopped completely after this.

  • how can you fall off when you are just trying to ride in a straight line??!

  • @UKADI1 She's not trying to ride in a straight line. From what I can see, she's attempting a swerve maneuver which (in the UK anyway) requires a minimum speed and the rider to stop fairly shortly after completing the swerve.

  • I tend to agre with Biggerbadwolf here, she's there doing slow control manouvers, if she's hitting the front break there are some serious issues with the instruction she's receiving or the observation skills of the instructors allowing here lose out there before she has it down. Noted she isn't dragging the rear either, so I lean toward poor tuition

  • @TimClynes I agree. My wife took the MSF course here in GA, and it did little to prepare her for proper low-speed handling. She dumped hers 3 times in about 2 months, all at low speed, and all with improper use of the front brake.

  • Awww thats sad :(

  • what the fuck with all the 'kitchen' jokes??? this is motorcycling!

  • Why did she pull front brakes when the bars were so far over to the left? Doing that will pull the steering head over into the turn, not what you want when trying to scrub off speed. Poor instructor training or NO instructor training is my guess.

I hope she gets back on before she loses her nerve.

  • Girls should not be on motorcycles !

  • she did really well on the figure 8, granted she did put her foot down, arguably the most difficult section on the test. She just got spooked in the weave, we had a lady in my class almost go down the same way, in the same section. She'll get a chance to redo and i hope she passed, you don't really develop skill until you go out into traffic anyway.

  • There was a lady like this in my class. She dropped the thing three damn times but stuck with it. In the end she passed with a better score than me. Hope she stuck with it

  • poor cow didnt do too bad...what a shit pot little test anyway...she probably learned more from binning it than riding round cones an shit...i hope she is still riding... an the instructors looked like they just there for the money.... knob ends

  • I personally think you should be forced to spill a bike at least once when your learning to ride. A lot less people would act stupid on highways buying bikes they cant handle. this woman now knows the golden rule "I sure as hell don't want that to happen in oncoming traffic!" now give that woman the bike again before she get's too scared of it.

  • Too much front brake, you can see the front of the bike bottom out.

  • Get back on and do it again!!! These instructors don't look too professonal to me....why take the bike and humiliate her?? tut

  • Almost same as my girlfriend :D

  • He was like is the BIKE OKAY!! :-O

  • Oh...I just read some of the comments about staying in the kitchen. To you people, I say, go back to your man caves. You probably started riding dirt bikes when you were 14! I bet this woman never had much, if any experience, and considering THAT, she did darned well! A spill on her bike means nothing....except the need for more experience and understanding of the limits of a bike. So why don't you male chauvinists keep your nasty comments to yourselves??

  • @cjfredonia could not agree more the amount of assholes on here who say those tedios copied kitchen jokes are not bikers they are asshole who want to be!!!

  • That was me a year ago! The first time I let out the clutch too quickly. The second time I trusted (as the trainers are fond of saying) the bike in the double U turn box a bit too much and down I went! For the test, after 6 hot brutal hours on the range I ran over a cone! At that point, I didn't even care. I went back to retake the test and passed. I have now been riding my Harley Sportster 1200 for 7 months. I hope that poor lady did not give up. She looked so dejected. Never give up!

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha ...........!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Grabbed the front brake in a turn... definate no no... and after a tumble you should get striaght back on the bike if you can... ride it a few metres... then stop... just so the fear doesn't take hold... and so your confidence doesn't take too much of a hit!

  • Grabbed the front brake in a turn... definate no no... and after a tumble you should get striaght back on the bike if you can... ride it a few metres... then stop... just so the fear doesn't take hold... and so your confidence doesn't take too much of a hit!

  • that poor, poor, eliminator.

  • lol front brake isnt a good idea

  • The instructors look like a bunch of jerks.

  • That was just funny :D

  • Is the bike okay?

  • And thats why you only use the front brake while you are straight.

  • @elwood173 ya if your lez never use the front brake

  • you drive a motorcycle!!! you arent allowed to cry anymore!

  • Is it only funny to me that they check out the bike for damage before asking the lady if she's okay>

That guy is so pissed about the bike.

    Lol

  • That was sweeet! Can I see it again?! LOL

  • Staying OFF the front brake at low speed in a turn is basic, basic stuff that every motorcycle rider should know before getting on a bike. It will dump you every time.

I hope she is not still on the road without additional training.

  • Looks like she made two mistakes. 1 grabbing instead of squeezing the front brakes. 2. braking while turning(weaving) (3) Going to fast for her skill level. I say this out of compassion not condescension. I myself just passed the LSF course yesterday and I made all kinds of mistakes, and I've been riding for years(apparently wrong for years). I think everyone should be required to take this course. In Cali, it's only required for below 21 y/o.

  • Watch her right hand right before she goes down, she yanked the hell out of her front brake and washed out

  • At least she avoided the obstacle lol

  • FUCK DUDE THAT IS MY GRANDMA......GRANDMA COME HOME!

  • 2:22 she grabbed a huge hand full of front brake....jeez

  • Comment removed

  • Never give up.

  • this girl on the road will die!!!

  • ahahahaha i used a bike just like that for my rider course this weekend. blue kawasaki eliminator.

  • it looks like she took her foot off the peg when she went for the back brake.

  • The wreck starts at 1:08

  • that is a big kitchen!

  • They shud have told her not to use the front brake wen turning, thats just askin for trouble. You could see the front end dive down. Hope it was just pride that was damaged.

  • Maybe they have a "You break it, you buy it" policy...

  • fail-.-

  • Is that in the USA or the UK. If it is in the USa, where do they get those neat little Eurspec 125's, especially the Honda 125 Superdreams?

  • @Scootertuner1000 there donate to each participating cycle center that endorse the courses

  • @truebadman You can get the Kawasaki she is riding in the states, but the other bikes are Honda CB125 Superdreams (I had one years ago in England) or they are Chinese copies maybe. The CB125T was an excellent little bike with a red line up around 12,000rpm

  • This is bullshit why did they make her stop, a girl in the course i was taking dropped the bike at least 6 times and we kept going.

  • @CmoreBuhts Ya why did they make her sit out instead of get back on. I would be either I get back on and try it again or give my money back enless that was the test then your just screwed.

  • HEY RETARD! YEA IM TALKING TO YOU! WELCOME TO YOUTUBE BITCH!

  • Wish! Did I see a ginger Fe-mullet?

  • it's hard being a bull dyke, if she passes that course, she will get a Harley and chase pussy all over town. ya need skills first.

  • IT'S LIKE FLYING AN AIRPLANE YOU LEARN THE FEEL....NOT EVERYONE HAS IT....YOU CAN GET HURT OR KILLED IN A HURRY

  • She dropped the bike because she braked during the swerve. Judging by the instructors' positions and the sequence of exercise, the crash happened during the skills test, which means that the student failed.

  • That doesn't look like a kitchen..

  • Some people just should NOT ride. This is what my instructor told me, and I was surprised at first (I was younger) but it is the truth. They just do not have what it takes.

Others, like me, may take a little longer to learn but they will get it and be careful at that. If you are wanting to learn to ride, it's not that hard. It just takes some training to learn good habits, and practice practice practice after that!

If you don't have coordination then you probably won't enjoy it anyways...

  • Give the lady some credit. At least she tried! I would rather her lay it down in a controlled environment than in front of Me on the road.

Also, If you aint dropped yet a bike then you aint riding hard enough! That's learning!

  • dont hit the front brake

  • ARE YOU CRYING? THERE'S NO CRYING IN RIDING!!!! -Tom Hanks lol

  • another reason why women belong in the kitchen

  • Holy crap! Is the bike OK? :o

Naw but seriously, you can't brake while turning (Unless the bike has ABS).

  • i hope the bike is ok

  • @Heelz604 Yep, semi realize that now :)

  • I took that same class my buddy did the same thing on the quick stop

  • Too much front brake even at a modest angle will cause a spill like that. Live and learn. Try not to use your brakes in a turn. Get a good entry speed and avoid braking as much as possible. If you must brake, NEVER USE YOUR FRONT BRAKE IN A CURVE/TURN. A couple people at my training course did that when I was learning. They both went down.

  • I bet that's your mom, or worse yet, your girl friend, why else would you be stalking this women with your camera and know that she drives a bike outside this course without an endorsement?

It's a training course for a reason, people crash, but unless it's the final test, they aren't kicked out. Back when I took the course (during a tropical storm no less), 2 people crashed, the instructors helped em out, and they got right back on the bike and completed the course.

  • they should have made her get back on that horse

  • ooo i just passed my course today :) the U turn in the beginning there was my weakness...but that swerve was cake

  • If you fail like this (no real casualties other than pride) … just get back on that ride and keep on trying. Next time you'll know not to front-brake and turn at the same time b/c of panic. If you stop now anxiety builds up …

  • WHY THE F*CK SOME "PEOPLE" LEAVE THE KITCHEN WHERE THEY BELONG?

  • those bikes will probably disappear when the 3rd generation dies off...

  • Comment removed

  • I think she use the front brake and turn at the same time... that's what usually happen to beginners...

  • That's what happens when you weigh more than the bike you're riding = top heavy

  • In truth, men make the exact same mistakes on training days like this all the time. Most bike crash videos on YT are of men acting like complete idiots and all those guys should stay well clear of bikes imo.

  • i like how they run over and get the bike up and on her side stand THEN worry bout the lady who can't ride! classic. a sexy as hell young woman from the Nat Guard was in my MSF course and did a similar low side on the panic breaking test run (after 4 or so practice runs, she locks the front on the test).

  • Its not sad she failed, its a good thing. More then likely she will end up killing herself and maybe someone else. Some people just cant ride bikes.

  • Dont know about the rest of you, but i know when i come to a stop, that low of speed i got my foot out. Sad though that she failed the course. Dont feel bad! I put my foot down once on the figure eight as well... still have yet to master it!

  • the guy who's recording this says the instructor ran over and picked up the bike first because the bike was on top of the woman's leg.

  • fail hell if u learn on dirt first a street bike is nothing

  • jajajajajaja....a cow falling down

  • I took this course in NY, what a ripoff. I got counseled out the second day, since I'm still having trouble with riding. What gets me is they claim 'No experience nessary', when it should really be 'Experience recommended'! ONLY take the class if you have clutch/throttle and shifting down already!

  • @Cap661 Go ride a bycicle XD

  • @Cap661 uh, then you took it in the wrong state then. I took mine down in florida, they told me the class was for me! and it was, went from basics all the way up to the final test. i had no prior knowledge of the clutch and throttle thing, the first bike ever was theirs (Honda night hawk)

  • What a gentleman. He helped that poor bike up immediately.

  • @waikikit Yeah! haha i've seen that a LOT. In every motorcycle crash i've seen there's always someone there to .... lift the bike up before checking if the guy is okay. hahaha

  • @waikikit LOLOLOLOLOL!!! No seriously the bike was on her leg....

  • @waikikit he lifted the bike off her foot so she can get back up.

  • @waikikit her leg was under the bike

  • @waikikit he had to lift the bike first, her leg was underneath it

  • @waikikit The bike was on her foot pinning her down, what else was he to do?

  • @waikikit Of course he picked up the bike first. It was on her leg. It wouldn't have done much good to help her up first if the bike was on her leg.

  • @waikikit I think she dropped it on her leg...

  • @waikikit If you take the time to look, the bike is laying on the ladies leg IMHO he did the right thing. Fortunately

the bike didn't have twin (hot) pipes.

  • If she were going 200 mph that woulda been a cool stoppie.

  • That sucks. I took this course when I started riding because I didn't have access to a bike for the DMV test. If you take the class, they supply the bikes and you run through an exam at the end of the week. If you pass, you don't have to take a test at the DMV. This was obviously the test, because they sent her packing. They don't do that during the learning portion. It's like 20 hours of wasted time to go through the course and drop the bike during the final exam. too bad for he

  • Her wheel was turned and she grabbed the front brake, it will pull you to the ground every time!

  • She was doing a hundred times better than some other folks in my MSF course. We had a lady that laid down her bike so many times.. but didnt get kicked out.

  • It's better to do the crash when she training than when she will be on public road.

  • straighten up, THEN brake

  • Why the hell did she slam on the front brake ?????? What a spastic !
