I wish Doctor Tofu had gotten more time in the anime. He really was a good counter to all the zanyness. Gave things more plot and less crazy choas. Except for his insane reactions to Kasumi. Which I think could have been solved should Kasumi just have kissed him hard.
Whoa, i wasn't expecting this for another month or so. Nice work on the remastered profile, Scott. :D
Seems like only yesterday we were talking about this one - actually to be more precise, it was the day before yesterday. Heehee.
And for those Tofu fans out there: Tofu obviously plays a significant part in the upcoming Ranma's Declaration Of Motherhood - obviously expectant mothers need doctors for checkups and child delivery. Stay tuned. :D
Sadly he suffered the Takahashi death were she doesn't put any of these characters out anymore for some unknown reason in the MANGA not ANIME. Other examples, Kurama Urusei Yatsura, Koga Inuyasha.
There's a 13th OVA coming out soonish. And while it might not count, Jarrah White is reviving the anime, though I couldn't tell you if it's from the beginning or from where season 7 left off.
I want the ACTUALLY MANGA BASED EPISODES. The ones that start off from the fishing story love arc in volume 23 where the original anime stopped at. Where we also get to see Herb and then the Safron arc at the end. Where we see Ryu Kumon and how Ranma ACTUALLY meets his mother, it does happen. That's what I want to see. Not some freaking OVA or a video slot machines that feature her other works like Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku. I'm serious Rumiko allowed Pahinko games continue.
I'm not kidding there's video slot game machines in Japan that does her two series Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku, I'm not joking. I want to see Pink and Link, the bust battle arc, etc, not some damn OVA. I want the real thing. Allow it back Rumiko, YOU DID FOR INUYASHA WHY CAN'T YOU DO FOR RANMA 1/2!
I love to see those parts but in the end if Rumiko the person who made of this doesn't agree then guess whose going to come after them probably eitherShonen Sunday, Rumiko (through her lawyers),Kitty Filmsthe ones that originally animated the sreies,I can go on forever.
Also it doesn't sound the same without the original voices from the subbed version.Hearing Kappei Yamaguchi doing Ranma etc. When Inuyasha came back to finish up it felt like the anime series never left even it had been 5 years
Are you a fan of the dub or sub version of Ranma 1/2?
Personally I don't mind that they're going to use an all new cast of voice actors, expecially if they start at the first issue.
As for the legal side, well, I'm hoping Rumiko won't have any objections since I believe that Jarrah is doing this for free. Only time will tell.
Even if Rumiko does have a problem with it, the project should help her see how popular Ranma still is and sur her to get the full manga animated finally.
I like both versions but I started on the sub version then read the manga where the anime left off volume 23. Still if this Jarrah is doing that he needs to put those Disclaimers like Dragonball Z abridged did saying your only doing this for fun and this is not for profit. Still that didn't keep Toei animation (The animation company that did DBZ) from going after them. I think she'll like it but right now she's too busy doing her new manga series No-Rinne.
Jarrah, AKA WhiteJarrah, is an interesting guy. Me and him don't agree on everything, but we're both huge fans of Ranma 1/2. I support his activities whole heartedly and hope that Rumiko will as well.

Old school profile for an old school kind of guy. I like the symphony of bone cracking.
