@Akemicafeine,no, sorry, hiei and kurama were not lovers in the oringinal version.(although it would have been fantastic !!) though i think the creator(name escapes me) was originally gonna make kurama a girl, and hiei was gonna be his love interest.(which would explain alot) again, i'm not entirely sure,i just heard it from other fans.

That part is from the second movie. Yu Yu Hakusho: Poltergist report. :) Epic Movie if watched in japanese. They don't have the same voice actors voicing the characters in the english movie so it sounds really weird. The plot is epic though. :)

well on yoshiro's first try, kurama was a girl but since the damn editor said it would be more of a guy-fan anime(even though it got more fan girls they changed kurama's gender. but yoshiro said he still wanted kurama and hiei together so he made some yaoi... but sadly the editores changed it again...... would have been nice to see hiei and kurama together though...=(
