My favorite radio station, CKSL Oldies 1410 just went off the air a few days ago, despite me asking them not to do so... Whenever I hear this tune it brings to that first wonderful time I ever heard it. They truely were good times and great oldies... R.I.P. Oldies 1410 - the best damn radio station for miles around.

That is sad to hear, and AM radio has lost many great oldies stations over the years in favor of the talk news radio format. Is CKSL now a talk news station? This song hits me so deep. My older brother Ricky had just entered the Marine Corps in 1966 and I remember him getting ready to go to Vietnam. I remember the radio playing this a lot and my brother in uniform. I can see it all perfectly all these years later.
