This is a great song, great singing job, gorgeous woman. Not only is it a tragedy it never became a hit... this version was never actually released on any record at all, was only made for the movie and then slugged in awkwardly. Donna's album version is a fast remake, and the version dated 2009 is obviously completely different. So the ONLY WAY EVER to hear this song is from the movie... strange but true, and sad in a way...

I just happened to come across this. I remember watching Beach Blanket Bingo many times growing up, and I wish they still showed it on regular tv. I even remember some of the words. For me "It only hurts when I cry" and when I think of how quickly the years have gone by. Thanks for a nice memory.
