the unique thing about October's Very Cold was that it blended vocal melody over sample melody, that was the whole point. viva la hova, grey album etc didnt do that. drake is singing a lot of the same notes here as chris martin on the original viva la vida, due to the key shift. not to mention theyre both songs about mortality. this is why i argue that the chorus DOES work. genuinely interested in why your ears tell u this sucks. please explain @kdoogs @velocityb2k @andyrh0535 @LUVpceSKEETchees
