No I didn't think it was boring at all. I love hearing the 4.6 V8 engine when you got on it and give it hard acceleration.

I did a ride along today with the sheriff's office and I rode in a crown vic and I got up to 123 mph going to a mental female who was trying to get inside of a bank crown vics will defaintly haul some ass though lol

now that you've had the car for a while... do you notice any problems with it? how is it on gas (full tank) about 250 miles? i know it's a 20 gallon tank .. which is HUGE!!!

any leaks, or interior rattles ?

no problems with it since the tranny in the beggining , i go about 220 miles or so before i put gas in but thats above a quarter of a tank, no leaks or rattles.

What did they do for the Bumper Tuck.. get rid of the excess Plastic Trim from the exhaust portion to make it even and not so warped?

man, you got such a great car!!! since it's a domestic, are there any mechanical problems or leaks... more relilability issues than compared to a import (Honda) ..I hear good things about the P71's...

Actually i havnt owned an american car since the early 1980's (1970 Camaro and Mustang) so i cant help you with that.

But the next time i buy a P71 i will just figure on having to rebuild the tranny.

I have only had the car since October of last year.

how much was it to have the transmission rebuilt and where did you take it? can it be done at a ford dealer, or is it better to go to a smaller independent shop?

Im sure a  ford dealer would be much more.

do your spot lights still function? how is the car for long drives? any body or paint damage? was it a Highway patrol Vehicle ?

is the frame straight, been wrecked?

spot lights work, i only drive it around town ( no cruise control), --it was in a accident in 2005 according to carfax(drivers side front corner), it was a sheriffs car.

frame was checked by a friend, --its straight.

great car! how is it on Gas.. with a 20 Gal tank are you hating life? is it better when it was running on the 87 oct.. (Cheaper gas)

Mileage is about the same, around 16 around town but the performance is BETTER with the tune.

I drive to work five miles a day (one way) -and only drive localy so mileage is not a issue.
