  • Haha this guy was just sitting in front of me for a day on a train from L.A. to Albuquerque.

  • 80s for ever

  • this is the kind of B-boy that would have dudes shaking their heads like "HOW?? does he rock like that!!" This sh*t is simply amazing!! I've seen a lot of B-boys in my day, and the energy you get from Mr. Wave is about unbeatable! At his height, no body at ALL could battle this dude LOL. Respect goes out to the Old School ~

  • This video is wonderful... but he's NOT breaking.

  • even after 2 decades nobody could copy his style, you cant find anyone on youtube that dances like him.....Mr.Wave was, is and always will be unique!

  • This is the popper in breakin with the battle between RSC and NYCB?

  • Mr Freeze sons this cat

  • mr wave was the illest nigga!!!

  • I thought his name was Mr. Mike. As stated on his gold name plate around his neck.

  • those new poppers aint shit, there all imitators, they dont have there own style. You cant say that from mr wave.Thirty years ago he already had his OWNstyle, and he didnt have examples like the kids of today.

  • I am from the old school. Poppn was better back then but The new guys 2day would destroy these old school cats at B.boying And Mr. wave is very sloppy and out of control. He looks like his fucking head is about to fall off.lol

  • This just PROVES yall young, wet behind the ears, crumb snatching 20somethings are not coming up with NOTHING new! Jerkin....pfft.....Jookin...pfft. Whatever!

  • @navyman4 I don't like crumpn but i have to admit that it is newer than popping and probably just as difficult.

  • @breaknfool Naw my young brotha, all you got is this one clip as reference, a few old movies, and some young kids trying to immitate what we did in the 80's. EVERYTHING you see today is a result of breakdancing. Just cuz you ain't found some particular move doesn't mean we did it on some cardboard boxes in the front yard back in 1983...before going to see Return of the Jedi! LOL.

  • dag, i'd be content if i was a third as good as him

  • @prie71 New York Breakers don't hit as hard as LA breakers do. If Mr. wave is the best dancer that youv'e seen then u haven't seen much.

  • @breaknfool You cant be fool'n yourself The Rock Steady Crew & NYC Breakers were the best at the Peak of the breakdancing/b-boy era..... Boogaloo Shrimp???? com' on!!!!!

  • fuuuuuuck! this guys tite imagine him battleing it out with Boogaloo Shrimp

  • god i love his neck o flexes.

  • yeah right, Dave Elsewhere can robot pretty good, but to say he surpasses Mr Wave, thats bold...

  • Remember video was not around like today where all the moves were taped. You would have had to been around in the 80's and most people my age who have been around the break dance scene and watched tons of battles theres nothing I have seen new so far. But it amazes me to see youngsters doing some of the same moves I just wonder where they learned the exact same moves :). I thought most of it disapeared as many of us got older and alot of old popers died

  • The difference is that it was new then. There is nothing new now - and that is the sad part. BUT there is some srsly new shit coming down the pike - look up "napalm bboy" - I know that everything was new back then (which was sooo cool!) - but he is at least testing it and doing something new.

  • I always liked that brother, he could have survived out west....he had some tough acts out west, but he could have survived
