  • he sang the original spacemen version..so uh....yeah i think that he has a wonderful voice actually.

  • Yeah - I know but Red Crayola's is better

  • thats the live recording. The studio version is great, his voice is much better and way up in the mix. Track it down on google blog search or something, its worth it.

  • -

    My fave track of the LP

  • i came to London few years ago to be part of the music , all i could see is bunch of wankers rolling in the streets , the cult of skinny jeans and all these mother fuckin wanna be pete doherty donkeys , i just wonder where the amazing REAL indie scene of London disappeared , with incredible acts like spaceman 3 and jesus and the mary chain , what happened to the people ? are they so stupid we shall forgive them or it's just the very bad times now ... miss the time where noise was noise ?

  • Good first half

    bad second half

    JAMC=Scotlad

    Spacemen3=Rugby

  • Indie is hibernating man, it's funny but there is no Now, Then and Tomorrow it seems like a cosmic time soup sometimes, the music lives forever

    Peace everyone!

  • @kapikpai Jesus and Mary Chain are from Glasgow. Spacemen 3 are from Rugby. Times change and the youth want what ever the record companies shove down their wide open gut. I guess you have to dig deeper my friend. The real noise/scene is in your head. Let it out. Form a band.

  • @kapikpai

    Well, Spacemen 3 were from Northamptonshire and the Jesus And Mary Chain were from East Kilbride or some similar Skirtland smackhead hell-hole, not London.

    During the great days of British Indie (say, 1986 until Oasis) very VERY few of those bands were from London. And those that were, were pretty shit (e.g. Carter USM, Silverfish, Flowered Up). The good stuff was always happening in the most unlikely places.

  • @kapikpai Im affraid the hayday of british indie music is far behind us now my friend...i think it died in the 90's personaly. Most of what i see now in the UK is very disapointing. I wish that wasnt true because id love to see our little island back on top where it belongs. C'mon kids play from the fucking heart!!!!!

  • soo stunning....

  • i like the spacemen 3 version the best.

  • Sonic good, Spacemen better, the Red Crayola original, best.

    Still, great to see again. Thanks

  • definitely

  • when was this from?

  • it's a live show in DC from like 98 or so. It's a really bizarre concert.

  • it's got to be early 90s surely?

  • HOLY SHIT! SPACED OUT!

  • please keep that holy shit on your own planet.

  • Cough medicine & half a bottle of vodka will get you there, if you want to...

  • holy crap! thank you for posting this

  • it is not an 'electric' cube. just a 'marazmatic' hole.
