There were a couple minor changes to the Nemesis rendering, like additional phaser banls and torpedo bays etc. The only really noticeable differences are that the nacelles sits slightly farther forward and higher above the ship on the Nemesis model, and the wall on the outside of the shuttle bay in the back was extended to give a smoother profile between the saucer section and the rest of the ship

@toyaforever Secondary saucer? There is only the saucer and engineering hulls. And in the Sovereign-class, there is no saucer separation. The saucer and engineering hulls are completely merged in this new design. If you want more advanced class but with saucer separation, go with the Prometheus.

I love this ship!! Sleek, fast, and powerful makes it a great flagship for star fleet. I hope they do make starfleet in real life and in my life time.
However it's also possible this ship wasn't designed for sustained saucer seperation since this Enterprise doesn't have any families onboard like 1701-D did. Like the toosieroll pop, the world may never know and probably doesn't care.
I had often wondered where the impulse engines for the star drive section would be in the event of a saucer separation. Because according to John Eaves, the designer of the ship, said yes, the Enterprise can separate.
And one thing I also love is the fact that according to the Countdown, the Star Trek (2009) movie prequel, Data is back and is Captain of the Enterprise-E. B4 became Data.

If you look into the original Enterprise Refit you'll see that it ACTUALLY had changed. Physical hardware had changed, you could actually SEE the difference. If a ship gets repaired and in this case rebuilt in certain parts, its still based off the original schematic, no hull structures or features have changed. Its not a refit.

If you look at pictures from the actual movie (IE: Nemesis, Insurrection, First Contact) you'll see that there we're no different designs / colors / hull contour lines on this ship). the enterprise d from the next generation could seperate, but it was the only enterprise to be able to and re-dock with the ship...the original enterprise could seperate, but it was only ised as a last-ditch, because it couldn't return to the rest of the ship. so only the galaxy class (the enterprise d) can seperate and actually return to the ship. you see any other ship that's been seperated, chances are that it's been destroyed or blown in half lol
if you look at the Enterprise E on dvd and in pause. You cans see the lines of separation on the underside. I saw a magazine when both First Contact and Nemesis came out. There were sketches of the 1701-E as I recall in separated flight mode. I saw no impulse engines for the Lower section. so you are right. But since the ship was designed to Fight the Borg i would presume the Imp. Engines for the Saucer section would pop up and out of the section of the ship that looks like it is ejectable.
I don't think it would be able to separate. It no longer had whole families aboard so it didn't need to separate to keep civilian personnel safe. A system to separate would be costly and take up lots of unneeded space. Just speculation though.

actually Champions Quantum torpedoes are the most powerfull torpedoes out there followed by the borgs gravimetric torpedoes and finally the romulan Plasma torpedoes.

All in the eye of the beholder. Personally, a LARGE saucer section...connected to a skinny neck and disproportionate stardrive section = ugly. Sorry Galaxy-Class; maybe if you looked more like the Ambassador-Class.
? The Ambassador class is short, stubby and ugly by comparison, and the Sovereign class is just an over stretched, generic intrepid class. Far worse design. Also, the Galaxy class' neck is far from skinny, and is actually thicker than the hull connecting the Sovereign's saucer to the engineering hull. The saucer section of the Galaxy class is far more exotic and impressive than the Sovereign's, (especially from the front), and is not disproportionate to the engineering section.
It would have been decent, had it not been for the dumb song.

@AVIATIO and for the record, the Federation does have capital which is known as Federation Credits which is backed by latnum(some sort of gold like substance that is used the same way other countries back their currency on a real standard) they use that in order to trade with Non-Federation species. And as for the whole brainwashing thing, I find it hard to believe that people find it a bad thing to work for the betterment of Mankind as a whole rather than just being absolutely selfish

We never saw the Enterprise Separate. I am sure it could.
What was with that section behind the saucer that was at teh top of teh Engineering Hul.. It loked like it had secret doors and was ejectable.
It fired aft torpedoes in star trek 9.
the scnes wit hRiker in command were mor lively than when picard was on the bridge. it meant we saw somthing bew !

the enterprise d from the next generation could seperate, but it was the only enterprise to be able to and re-dock with the ship...the original enterprise could seperate, but it was only ised as a last-ditch, because it couldn't return to the rest of the ship. so only the galaxy class (the enterprise d) can seperate and actually return to the ship. you see any other ship that's been seperated, chances are that it's been destroyed or blown in half lol

if you look at the Enterprise E on dvd and in pause. You cans see the lines of separation on the underside. I saw a magazine when both First Contact and Nemesis came out. There were sketches of the 1701-E as I recall in separated flight mode. I saw no impulse engines for the Lower section. so you are right. But since the ship was designed to Fight the Borg i would presume the Imp. Engines for the Saucer section would pop up and out of the section of the ship that looks like it is ejectable.

I don't think it would be able to separate. It no longer had whole families aboard so it didn't need to separate to keep civilian personnel safe. A system to separate would be costly and take up lots of unneeded space. Just speculation though.

@Cain3697 u right. This ship is more of a combat based than civilian/science. It does science study as well but it's built for speed and fight.

Thats what there going to do to it in star trek online...there going to make Data captain of the enterprise after being "brought back to life in B4's body" and fully refit the Enterprise E sovereign class with the thruster glider thingy that attaches the warp thruster wings together

not 2 bad i personally perfer romulan ships over federation ships and btw KM1.0 now has an add on that has all retro ships added (ENT,ToS,TMP era ships) and it's been made by IKf a STBC clan let me know if u wanna hear more or mail me anything ya wanna ask if u want :P

actually Champions Quantum torpedoes are the most powerfull torpedoes out there followed by the borgs gravimetric torpedoes and finally the romulan Plasma torpedoes.
anyway this is a beautiful vessel my favourite ship design EVER. its simply stunning no matter which direction you lookat it from. i just cant wait for STO

that's the post nemesis Enterprise E equipped with advanced shields, stronger armor, plus 2 extra impulse engines, multi-spectrum phasers, photons, quantums, and last but not least plasma torps, if the quantums don't finish off you foes then the plasmas will surely do it....

All in the eye of the beholder. Personally, a LARGE saucer section...connected to a skinny neck and disproportionate stardrive section = ugly. Sorry Galaxy-Class; maybe if you looked more like the Ambassador-Class.

? The Ambassador class is short, stubby and ugly by comparison, and the Sovereign class is just an over stretched, generic intrepid class. Far worse design. Also, the Galaxy class' neck is far from skinny, and is actually thicker than the hull connecting the Sovereign's saucer to the engineering hull. The saucer section of the Galaxy class is far more exotic and impressive than the Sovereign's, (especially from the front), and is not disproportionate to the engineering section.
