@zera68 Jesus spoke in parables. He never meant any of it litterally. He wants us to give to the poor and expresses the importance of that. He also says to hate our families and eat him out, and a bunch of other crazy stuff. they are just metaphors and parables. It was more of a "do so so it would seem this way" than a just "do so".
I was brought up in a pentecostal church. I know a preacher that handed out envolpes that had cash in them that he handed out to the congragation. He told the church to do with it what "the spirit" would have them do with it. Many testafied that God led them to not only give the money back but to add to it. Brilliant scamming. It was a churh of about a thousand members.

I was brought up in a pentecostal church. I know a preacher that handed out envolpes that had cash in them that he handed out to the congragation. He told the church to do with it what "the spirit" would have them do with it. Many testafied that God led them to not only give the money back but to add to it. Brilliant scamming. It was a churh of about a thousand members.

@LitleMsPacMan if u see 4 yr old black belts and 4 yr old ministers, something is terribly wrong. Someone needs to define what a martial art and religion is. What a pastor or martial artist is, then enforce that. It's the standards that are more of an issue than anything. with strong enforcable standards, u wont get 4 yr old ordained pastors, and 4 yr old black belts. At the very least the con artists will have to try a little harder to con people since they wont be doing it from the age of 4...
