two things, MotoscuterZ, ur an idiot, saving private ryans into was omaha beach. call of duty 2s was point du hoc. second, saving private ryan was about 8 soldiers risking their lives to save one soldier. call of duty 2 had no story line like that. JRandRrecords, ur right. this series is based apon two books, with the old breed, and brotherhood of heroes. this is entirely a true story people! the soldiers are real, the whole story is REAL

you're an idiot man, if you played through the game you would have seen the similar aspects. in the point du hoc level there are so many little parts that are exactly like the movie. like when the landing craft blew up, the soldiers walking out do the exact same things

No. Just no. So much of the Call of Duty World at War theatrics were just ripped completely off other war films.

The introduction to the Russian campaign was almost an exact copy of the scene where Vasili Zaitsev kills 5 Germans in the movie Enemy at the Gates.

It looks great, but might not measure up to Band of Brothers. However, if it is using the same team from Band of Brothers, and some of it based on "With tth Old Breed" then it should be awesome. I'm pretty sure it is. I hope it will be awesome

About time someone focused on the Pacific Theater. The war in Europe was horrible none the less, but the fight against Japan was a fight to the death. I can't wait to see how Hanks and Spielberg portray it. If you get a chance read With The Old Breed by Eugene B. Sledge, it's one of the books this series is based on. I feel this is going to be every bit as epic as Band Of Brothers.
