thats what i liked about the stang in Bullitt, that 390 had the really brrrrraaaapppp type sound,

I could have cared less about the Charger

i wanted to listen to that 390 being double clutched by Steve Mc Queen,

@kirkconway lol,.... the sound you hear in the movie is not the green mustang sound, it is sound taken from steve mqueens other movie "le mans" and dubbed over the mustang. what you hear in bullitt is a ford gt40
