GFR rulz,thx alot! we got our band togather in 78 and we did an hour of gfr that was our starting base!once we had that we could play anything!there was so much great music then,but none better!and in 1989 I got saved on the "preachn bus"what a high,thx again!

GFR was in the fiber of American youth / party scene thru the 70s (into the 80s). i wish the parasites of the industry could have let them be the band they were on track to be.

R&RHOF are fools. They told me GFRxR was not a big influince. I honestly can NOT think of a band in the '70's that was a bigger influince to a young person wanting to start a band than GFRxR. Every young man in the 70's wanted to be like Mark Farner. He was iconoclast.

I think when something can not be explained in life, such as the way R&RHOF acts. It can almost always be traced to envy. GFRxR was sell-out 25,000-50,000 seat arenas nightly, when other bands couldn't sell-out a 500 seat club.

Marks tone is so much better with theses guys, night and day the difference from Grand Funk & NRG.Mark please stop bitching all the time before songs with NRG he is not rocking & turning fans off except a few loyal fans,and you guys know deep down Im right,truth hurts. Mark get it together with your band and Rock and people will pay and you wont have to play your free oldie concerts.
