My thoughts on Street fighter cross Tekken.

Game looks badass to me, definitely gonna be buying it. And it's nice to know that there won't be any Super Special Awesome Dynamite Ultimate Gold Edition coming out in eight months time and all the updates will be done via DLC.

However... if Dragunov isn't in this game... I am going to be PISSED. OFF.

the story is really come into between Shadowloo vs Mishima Zaibatsu according to reports so Bison is going to be in it and we already know Heihachi is in it if u havent seen that bs puzzle teaser. lol

im not sure if i will get it. capcom recently has gotten very lazy with their games and im pretty sure with sf x tekken they wont give us a full game AGAIN like with mvc3 and ultimate mvc3 that has only one new mode (spectator mode) which was promised as FREE dlc for mvc3

also does the game have 1v1 mode? i mean if mk could have both 2v2 and 1v1 i really dont see why this game shouldnt other than capcoms eXtreme laziness :\

As a diehard Tekken fan, I appreciate the attention Ono has paid to the Tekken roster in getting them right. I just wish he felt the same way about his own characters. The SF side of the cast just looks BAD. Rehashing SF4 characters models, which the models like Ryu and your girl Chun are absolutely horrendous (Chun is about 85% leg and hands in her current model), with very tacky animations. I think this game will be like MK a bit. Decently fun, alright to play comp, but ultimately not great.

@dayashathirsts probably a little late on this, can understand about the frame data analysis I've noticed the "frame flashes" and the only reason i can think of why it looks like that is it's pretty far from dropping, and is still in mid/final development proven by the new "system: their developing for TGS . so i think that has alot to do with the frame animation and why they are so "poor" just my opinion also sorry if someone already posted this

im looking forward to the game. the roster is awesome but missing some fan favorites so the characters u mentioned will b confirmed soon. as for the engine, i don't care as long i have fun playing the game and that's it. I don't do competitions. Now, the storyline. I'm more looking forward to it and they better b rite about it. Hoping n possibly about the two companies between Shadoloo and Mishima Zaibatsu organizing a super tournament. I'm buying it but hopefully no more updated versions.

Honestly when i heard about this game, I thought it was just them trying to capture the success of both games. No real balances. No Real strategy. Just another cash in. I couldnt agree more with a Tekken Vs DOA. Tht would have been so much better. Realistic styles vs Realistic Styles. It makes so much more sense from a gamers standpoint. Tekken Vs SF only makes sense from a marketing stand point IMO and thts why i dont feel itll be tht good...But i kno ill end up getting it nyway :/

I honestly think this game is gonna be better than people are thinking, some people may think it's a joke, but it's a pretty good game and i think in the end it will be favorite. It's definitely already a favorite of mine. Now about a Super SFxT or anything of that nature, Haruda would have to approve since Tekken characters are owned by Namco if no approval, no "Super". So no need to worry about updates. I'm gonna main this game and go for Top 8 at EVO next year. Yoshimitsu and Poison.

I played SFxT at EVO this year and I didn't notice the frame animation problem or anything of that nature, but other than that i agree with you. About Footsies to me it feels a little like SFxT, but we'll have to wait and see before i make my final judgment. Now about the the whole ABC launcher >ABC comber ender it's not the only thing you can do you can for example with Ken ABC switch cancel into Hwoarang cross-up combo of choice. Personally Im gonna buy the game but i hate how Capcom only chooses Characters from thinking at a tournament level, Like Me I Want to see Sean in SFXT but with Capcom making him a joke character in 3rd Strike and The Community hating the Character, I Doubt that he will get in the game but overall the game looks amazing and i too hope that it's a greater game then just a rehash of SF4

My thoughts on SFXT is that if you hated Marvel 3 (for obvious reasons) then you'll probably hate SFXT. Ono and Capcom have made it clear what direction they're taking their fighting games in terms of "accessibility". Casuals gamers will love SFXT but the more serious competitive players will probably be greatly disappointed. Don't hype yourself up too much...

When I first heard about it, I was crazy hyped for it. Now that I've seen the game play and how it works, it kind of took away from my excitement. It just seems a little watered down to me. Like, I feel like it lacks that potential for a high competitive aspect that SSF4 did. I'm still going to pick it up, because it really does look like a lot of fun though.

Now with all this info on Street Fighter x Tekken, what happened to Tekken x Street Fighter. That one is gonna be the graphics beast. Plus I wanna see how SF characters play with Tekken mechanics. I can see Ryu already having a beast juggle.

I hope the game has a story too. IMO Capcom should just let Namco handle do the story. But what I'm iffy about is Capcom's habit of releasing multiple versions of a game. Not sure if Namco would allow it to happen, but I can see myself waiting until the second edition of the game. My only worries right now. That and balance.
