I love the way they bring you into the story as tidus. Both you and tidus have no clue what this world spira is about, so you and him are both learning more about it at the same.

cause it costs more and is harder to make the whole game in graphics like that, so they only do certain scenes like that such as the sending and zanarkand.

Because they are prerender graphics and are compressed as a video file. The game plays the video file. They were animated with 3D models of higher resolution. Making these scenes take lots of time, money and rendering time.

The other dialog scenes are in the game engine and use the models from the game engine. They didn't have the budget/time to animate all the scenes because it requires to much models when it came to background and stuff.

The gameplay graphics are maybe rendered by the PS2.

I think it's more inevitable personally. xD It wasn't that people/artists couldn't makes those graphics~ it's the game consoles couldn't handle it.

As game CPU/game consoles/graphics cards progress~ thing get better. I think we almost reaching that point where it's as good as it needs to get. Last gen and this gen are 7 years apart. In the life of technology, that is a very long time.

3D animation is always one step ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if 3D games with 3D goggles is the next step.

@NERDG0NEWILD I dunno X is pretty up there and all not being at all limited to specific roles for each character with the sphere grid. Auron's and Seymour's character development is near unparalleled in terms of FF games. We actually understand why Seymour is the way he is and by the end it almost makes us feel sorry for him as he was forced to sacrifice his own mother when he was little so that he could defeat sin and on top of that he was forced to live alone for years.

FFX isn't hard, its a very good game. FFX-2 follows the story line of FFX, so if you havne't played FF10 it might be a bit confusing. Also the gameplay is very different. Yuna is a summoner, performing 'sending' is part of her duty. It means send the spirits of the dead to another world, so that they don't become ''vengeful' monsters/ghosts.

Well, if we were in a world with this huge monster named Sin that would kill everyone and then the souls of the dead would become feinds, wouldn't you be scared?

When someone dies in our world, we have a funeral and people becoame sad, this for them is their funeral. Their loved ones are now gone forever and they will not come back, thats how I think its like. Or esle I'm wrong.

Bottom line: Its horrifing because its sending the dead somewhere I guess.

Because Phoenix-downs are used for people who have been knocked unconscious. . . .since a person never dies during a battle, but just KO'ed, the phoenix down works. If they really died, they really died.

They still become fiends but they're not nearly as much as there was when Sin was around. And I believe there are still summoners in Spira in FFX-2. It's just that they're not needed as much anymore.

1. The flames turn blue when something big or important is going on. Mainly when it has to do with spirits and magic.

2. The spirits/energy helped her walk on water. It is also a symbol to show she is holy.

Nonsense. Using the Sphere Grid, Yuna could be just as physically powerful as Auron and cast all the same spells as Lulu with just as much power and can steal enemy magic and enemy items just as well as Kimahri and Rikku. Yuna is far from useless outside her summons.
