Actually, that rifle is pretty decent for most situations, it wouldn't give away your position due to little noise and no muzzle flash. It would also be easy to relocate often with a two man spotter and sniper team.

The sound isn't edited, it's just that the video camera can't pick up the pitch very well. When you suppress a caliber that large, it's more of a quick whoosh noise than it is anything else. About the only way to describe it is to go out and shoot one.
