The reason for Battlebots getting cancelled is because the show focused too much on the commentary and the bot builders more than the robots themselves.

It competed as Dreadbot in Battlebots since they couldn't have the same name for legal reasons. (Hence 'Little Sister' and 'Spitfire').

IM pretty sure Backlash isnt even in this fight. In the intros you can see he is introduced and placed between ziggo and salad, but in the opening seconds of the fight there is space between those two bots. i guess he was taken out at the last moment?

if this is the right season, Backlash was already heavily damaged in the finals [one wheel drive was out] It's tough to keep those bots running at full juice, as I believe even Ziggo was having technical difficulties in the finals vs backlash as well.
