Es que estos dibujos son tan imponentes, tan de ficción, irreales, detallistas, y expresivos, te dejan una sensación de abstracto en el cuerpo, algo frío, una ilusion soñada, cosas que quisieras que pasaran, son otro tipo de animación, una animación de clase. Felicitaciones!

Miyazaki has made some of my all time favorite movies, and he's probably the one who first got me into liking the sometimes-too-complex storyline of anime. His best work by far was Spirited Away, but my two personal favorites are Princess Mononoke and Totoro. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Kiki's Delivery Service in such a long time, I loved that one too!

Anyone remember the one about the Tanuukis? XD

Una cruda realidad. Fuera de heroismos y demás, todas las guerras son crueles. Mostré a mi hermana una parte de la película y no pudo evitar verla toda... tampoco pudo evitar llorar. Es hermosa, pero muy dolorosa.

eso es verdad, a decir verdad es la unica pelicula que me ha hecho llorar.

Todas las peliculas de este estudio son excelentes. No soy fanatico del anime pero al ver estas peliculas me di cuenta de las enseñanzas que dejan por lo que recomiendo en un 100% de que traten de conseguirselas y veanlas. tengan en cuenta que este estudio trabaja con el dibujo tradicional, hoja por hoja, por lo que la calidad que queda es para babear.

The connection is that John Lassiter at Pixar is a huge fan of Miyazaki. Lassiter did an interview of Miyazaki for the ectra material on the Spirited Away DVD, and has referred to Miyazaki in many other contexts. I'm sorry that I don't know more details about the connection, so I don't know whether they ahve actually worked on any projects together.
