  • I finally understand this stuff. Excellent video, I must have watched it three or four times excluding lots of pausing but I think I get it now.

    It also explains why I've seen Dudley's Ultra 2 Corkscrew Cross go into its full animation after a juggle; something I thought was impossible beforehand.

    If my reactions are on point I might be able to do it after the FA. Thanks a lot for this guide. It fills in some glaring gaps in knowledge that the game itself doesn't whatsoever.

    Hmm, after one hit of any of his Scarlet Terrors you can immediately do another scarlet terror to hit the enemy (EX will work best but can be done with HK) you could even do EX Wall dive... If you trade a EX Wall Jump the enemy is in float, (Like his DF + HK lunging kick) this means you can do anything after except his ultra (the launch will hit, the ultra will not)

    & basic stuff, besides one hit of terror in to EX terror you can do DF + HK -> Scarlet terror or EX Barcelona

    Yeah you can, but in terms of good application in an actual fight, it'd be quite unlikely you'd hit the opponent at the required height.

  • @petey86 You can do it with them grounded. Just have to quick charge.

  • @icebreaker753 You can also hit a ST after a light RCF if the opponent is hit in mid air as the opponent is put in a juggle state.

    With that reset the MP hit meaty, this means that in the MP's hittable frames, it hit on some of the later frames, increasing the amount of frame advantage Mak had.

  • 13:51 thats the worst round of Sagat's life lol...thanks for the info..it does look a bit too complicated to learn the notation but it will make me dig deeper for the potential of juggle combos...the Dhalsim combo was particularly interesting. The Seth combo with LP into MP SRK was of interest to me aswell I didn't know you could alter his uppercuts hits based on the P you used that gives more potential to the combos I've been trying to "invent" with him just trying to learn EVERYTHING he can do

  • I would like to thanks everyone who is involved in these particulary tutorials. It take time and a lot of knowledge to make an ressourceful video such as this. But for beginners or even kids, it might be a bit too complicated in my opinion.

    good explanation of the juggle system... i think most mid-level players have a decent idea, but this is best.

    does any frame data out there include the juggle properties of each move?

    There's some very basic references on Event hubs, however it's not completely accurate.

    Duel means a fight. stands out on the first screen...

  • Hmm.... In the Ken ultra 2 bit, JP2,3,6,7, and 8 missed even though they had the right numbers. Did they simply whiff because Balrog was too high?

    Yeah that's correct, i did intend to display a different animation on whiffed hits but i kinda forgot.

  • Correction at about 6:00, It is not precisely when they drop to their knees. Typically, it's when the head starts to bob backward. I understand that level of detail is unnecessary, though.

    Yeah i knew, however i didn't want to overload people with intricate details (For example moves have alot of hidden hits, which i also didn't display) i just chose something people could look at & easily see, Dan for example is clearly hittable even when he drops to his knees, messing up combos sometimes :P

    You are right though.
