  • Decent.

  • great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I didn't know Christopher Lloyd had a gig as a bill haley replacement.

  • i thought that was the Doc from back to the future singing!!

  • The current line up (as of last night) is Jackson on vocals and guitar, Lou on bass, Joey on sax, Dicky on drums, and a new piano player. It's the best version since Bill in my humble opinion. They're at the ICON Theatre in Branson Missouri, along with the Platters, the Rat Pack, Jukebox Journey, and Chubby Checker

  • Now this is what I consider true legends it's nice to see these guys still up there playing this good music today. Franny played that solo great it's nice that guys haven't slowed down and that they still enjoy playing today

  • this is the number one rock song of all without this there would be no rock and roll. franny beecher is great.

  • The guitar guy startin to loose it on his solo! But he really rocked backed then

  • 最高です!

    歳とってこそ、ロックンロ-ル!

    答えがここにあり^-^

  • I Like The Comets :)

  • I had heard that Johnny Grande passed away also. He is on the keyboard.

  • @bigdancd Just to clarify, of the members of the Comets on this clip, only Johnny Grande has passed away. Joey Ambrose (sax) and Dick Richards (drums, but absent from this clip as he was performing in a play and couldn't do this tour) still tour as the Comets. Marshall Lytle (bass) continues to perform as a solo act. Franny Beecher (guitar) also continues to perform - and he's nearly 90!

  • He is Genius Rock 'n Roll

  • Great to see Jacko from the dynamite band fronting the comets ... it must have been a lifelong dream come true :-)

  • i saw they two times!

  • wtf la tocan = y ya han pasado 50 años que kawaii

  • si los señores es cierto que toca que buen video buena honda

  • Why is he up there with a bass...plus hes struming it lol

  • With Marshall Lytle on Bass and Frannie Beacher on Guitar these are the original Comets. I remember Jacko (singing) when he was with The Flying Saucers and later with The Dynamite Band - he has earnt his right to stand up front with these guys (what an honour!). Shame the orignal drummer is not in this scene he was when I last saw them live (about 2004) and it was a fantastic show. If you ever get the chance to see them - take it at all costs. They are still the worlds best supergroup!!!

  • The pickup on Frannie's guitar is working fine--it's just the sound engineer didn't bring him up in the sound mix when his solo came up...

  • @Pickinbuddy Franny did a great job on the solo and no disrespect to this legend but let's face it nobody and I mean NOBODY could play that solo like Danny Cedrone!

  • Another great performance by the original Comets. The only unfortunate thing about this video is this was one of the few tours not to feature Dick Richards on drums (I happen to know he was appearing in a play in Los Angeles at the time) and that for some reason the pick-up on Franny Beecher's guitar wasn't working right so the famous solo is hard to hear on this clip. Still, there's great spirit to be shown here, and the Comets are still going strong today!

  • great bill haleys comets ,still top class rocknroll , thanks for this
