@Muzic303 -Depends on what you prefer to play. If you prefer campaign mode, Halo 3 is better-the campaing in ODST is short and just not very good in my opinion . However, if you prefer playing Matchmaking online, ODST comes with a multiplayer disc that has ALL the maps(including DLC), allowing you to play online. Obviously you can still play online if you buy Halo 3, but you have to buy all the DLC seperately to get into most playlists.

@Muzic303 both. halo 3 is like 10 dollars and halo odst is 15. great deal. 25 dollars for the complete xbox 360 halo 3 collection. 2 campaigns and all maps. i think that is much easier than buying the dlc which will cost more money. halo 3 has a better campaign but odst has all the maps.

@gorillazfan3 -According to Bungie's website, you need ALL the DLC to join Social Big Team. This means if you don't have some levels, you won't be able to join the playlist at all. The same goes for Ranked Squad Battle (6 vs 6)

@MegaDamien13 -It's called a Prowler. It's driven by the Brutes in Campaign mode. It has a plasma turret on the top, which you need a gunner for (the driver can't shoot it).

@zipper091 -The Capture the Flag (CTF) gametype shows up in a variety of playlists, including Squad Battle and Social Big Team Battle. If you want to play CTF, join one of those playlists, and stick with it. CTF appears randomly, so you might not get it right away. But it will come up eventually.

Yeah, PS3 is a pretty versatile system. Now you can get them for like 300 bucks. When you take into consideration that a blu-ray player is usully around 200, it's almost dumb NOT to have a PS3.

But I still like both. I just wish Nintendo hadn't sold out to appeal to kids and soccer moms who only play wii sports and wii fit. Don't forget your hardcore gamers, Nintend!

To change your character's armor, press Start to bring up the menu. Move one menu to the right, and there is an option called "Appearance". On the menu that comes up, click on "Armor". You can then change the head, either shoulder, and the body.

The ODST disk should take you to the same playlists as the Halo 3 disk, so that doesn't really make a difference.

I'm not sure of what gametypes are in "Throwback", but if it has two teams against each other, chances are there is a CTF gametype in there somewhere. Otherwise check Squad Battle (ranked), or Big Team Battle (social).

Sometimes. You have to decide if it might be helpful to drive the vehicle a little bit closer to your base first. If you are carrying the guy with the flag, sometimes you want to get him as far as possible.

The Hornets in matchmaking don't have rockets. They've been removed. And I believe the Hornet is only on Avalanche, not any of the other levels.

This film is from Halo 3. The level is Avalanche, which is a remake of the level Sidewinder. Avalanche is one of my favorite maps in the game.

There is no "Health" in Halo 3. You have a shield, which recharges on it's own when you are not getting shot.

If you watch the video, my friend and I die at 6:37, and the flag is picked up by someone else (J11). J11 then runs into the base-but doesn't capture the flag. He finally dies almost a minute later, and you can see at 7:47 when C25 picks up the flag-J11 had brought it all the way back outside. By now, my friend and I are pissed at getting spawn killed by the Scorpion, so when C25 runs RIGHT PAST THE GOAL and still doesn't capture it, we have no patience and kill him to finish the game.

I see what youre saying when you're trying to lead the target because with most guns, the bullets have a speed. However, with a spartan laser, the laser moves at the speed of light so it's not really necessary.
