Oy. Good vocal potential, and good energy...but Lucy is a CHILD. She's not SCHIZOPHRENIC. All the strange accents, going from deep and dramatic to high and squeaky, it's just a little over-done. No, you don't have to do it just like Broadway...but people need to remember the original Peanuts characters. That is who you are bringing to life. And Lucy just does not act like this.

The first play I was in, most of the cast were girls, so almost all the male parts (including mine) were played by girls. It was a bit weird, but really, fun, too! (At the time I chose it, I didn't know it was a male part, I just did'nt want to play an evil character. I was really little.)

Thank you for your comment. That's the beauty of theater and acting.  An actor decides how they "feel" a character should be played. Kassie felt that Lucy "would be" obnoxious and that's how she decided to play her. Its easy for one to watch 50 youtube videos and act like every other person who has played LUCY. I thought what she did was commendable and so did the PaperMill Playhouse, NJ as she was nominated for "Best Actress in a Supporting Role for a HS Play".

I understand :) I am playing Lucy as well. Each Actor's interpretation will be a little different from the others. I'm just meeting Lucy at the moment, but I hope this view will help me to get to know her a little better.
