first of all should the same ice from 1970-80 be alsow in 2010? i dont think so, it is not people's fault that the ice melts it has already melted before, not once but several times and then before 1 million years there were no people on earth, so the earth does as it want's.

Humans have also apparently survived multiple ice ages, evidenced by 3 separate crossings of the Bering straight .

Global warming may be happening but to say we are causing it with 100% certainty is crap, we should control pollution first then change on new plants not force plants to be retro fitted. The total area of the space never got smaller until 0:28 seconds, which is an unlikely occurence. IF it has melted that much,then we would have already seen some global flooding
No, melting of Arctic polar ice has no impact on sea level rise as the ice is floating. Just like when ice cubes in a glass of water melt, the glass doesn't overflow, floating sea ice has no impact on sea levels.
In terms of total area, if you read the info, the different colours represent different ages of ice. Bluest is youngest ice.
Why, it MUST be! The only other explanation is we are causing it and we know how much evidence that has going for it. Whoever heard of CO2 leading temperatures? Why, I bet there isn't one article on how CO2 emissions combined with CO2 scrubber depletion, let alone any in a peer-reviewed journal! That's the only explanation, it must be a mysterious cycle and nothing to do with CO2 at all!
