OMG Randall loves cheese, too! But I was told not to feed it as they can't digest it properly... The way Xena acts reminds me of Randall.. they're barmy.. so loveable, but barmy!

MIne's father was Shepherd, the mother was Chow. So he's more Shepherd than Chow. If interested, have a look at my channel. I hope to put more videos up soon. I'm really interested to see how he's gonna grow up, but basically he just looks like a stockier, squatter GSD.

I have a dog thats 1 1/2 yrs and she looks EXACTLY like xena. the only difference is the dark snout. My dog is just like her. She's around 55lbs and has the same rear end fluff! she has a spotted blueish tongue. Check out some of my videos and see:)

u guys dont live in washington state by any chance do u because i have a german shephard chow mix and she has the exact same marking and does the exact same stuff xena does the same way and we got mia and the poerson said she had sisters and a brother but we never got to find them and i ask cuz xena is the spittin image of mia lol

well the thing is we adopted her, and that's what they thought she was, and i saw the resemblance to both so i stuck with it :) i wish i knew who her mom and dad were.

she's used to have a spotted purple tongue when she was younger, but it's mostly blended and purply now.

it's possible that she is part akita , but i mean she's only 55lbs. akita's are HUGE :P

and yes many people have asked if she was an akita, and or the shiba inu, but she's definitely way too big to be a shiba or part.

He was also adopted and they also said he was chow shepherd. He is also small for an Akita (only 60 pounds) and his tail doesn't curl as much, but everything else about him from his fur to his disposition is Akita. Maybe another Japanese dog like an Ainu? They are between 45 and 65 pounds. Anyway, I am sure the Xena gets lots of attention from people wanting to pet her. Does she like cheese A LOT?

and yes, xena LOVES cheeese ! and tons of attention , except there are times when she chooses who can pet her.. and who can't.

Once she hears the packaging for cheese, she'll run to you. :D

Rusty will yank you off your feet when chasing a squirrel or bunny.

Only thing Rusty loves more than cheese is going for walks/runs. He hates baths - takes a lot of cheese to appease him.

Rusty loves cottage cheese, Parmesan, feta, American square, blue cheese, Muenster, cheddar, brie. But he won't touch that processed cheese food - whatever that stuff is? How is Xena with a Frisbee? Rusty is hopeless!

Could Rusty and Xena be siblings? We live in So. Jersey across from Philly.

yes i can see that xena is an extremely fabulous girl..i really wana get a chow/sherp mix but im a little worried of the agression coz my chow chow is extremely ferocious to strangers and dogs and cats.. and lazy too =_=

@exomanic i have a german/shephard mix she is the sweetest thing actually as long as the person whose going to pet her is nice to her first shell just melt and let them rub her the only thing is she is very very defensive of me and my family so if she detects like alchohol on somones breathe and they get close to her or me she will start t bark and get angryier if they dont leave also with people who have huge bushy beards or tattoos

Xena is VERY VERY ENERGETIC and can play and run for hours. I jog with her almost everyday.

Actually... No, Xena was not hard to Train and she 's a very quiet girl. Almost never barks. She's very gentle and amazing with everyone as well with kids. A little more protective at night and loves to chase squirrels, other wise she's an amazing dog.

Mine looks exactly like Xena except she has a lot more fur and is a lighter color.

I have an identical shepherd/chow. Her name is dutchess, and we got her at a shelter when she was about 7. I can't find any footage of similar puppies though! I've always wanted to know what she looked like as a pup. By the way, she LOVES eating snow.
