add the swivel two the beam ADDING a block on the other side of the longer 2x4 so the wood screwz that come with the swivel have more two bite into AND so the biger 2x4 does not shift :)

I would imagine it would not be too long before either the swivel pulls loose from the stud,or the whole ceiling comes down from the weight of the bag.

@djtony12inch No the bracket is still holding up great and I've had it hanging since I made this vid. Personally my house doesn't shake at all but it could be different for others

@djtony12inch The bracket comes loose, umm over time? If you mean a few days of working out. Yeah, the mount sucks and even if you modify it and get the bolts it comes with in the wood it comes loose in the wood. I have to go into my attic now and put a 4x4 across some studs and hang it thru my ceiling in my living room. No, I cant use my garage.
