i dont understand how people love this piece of shit there are 10000 times better cars than and now it's slow, it's noisy, it's uncomfortable its ugly and a cheap copy of tatra with Fascism roots and it has such a completely pathetic heater than on cold days you'd be better off setting fire to your hair. . It's a dismal car with its engine in the wrong place. The only good thing about it is that after 57 years of continual production - about 55 years too long - Volkswagen finally killed it off.

@brighteyefilms yeah dude im afraid they stopped making them in 2008 in Mexico because of a new law stating all taxes in Mexico must be 4 door so the beetle lost its main customer how ever you can still get a camper van from brasil Mexico and a mk1 golf/rabbit gti from south Africa

2003 was the final year VW made the beetle in Mexico still lots of them left.

@dtmbcorp The Last of them left the Puebla VW factory in 2004 and took to the main plant in wulfsburg, his mass production became too expensive and his sales falled too much is what they say but honestly i dont know about any other compact that has that fame and also participates in the Baja 1000, VW beetle is an amazing car, cheers from Baja Mexico.
