You MUST own a copy of Rock Band 1 to be able to export its tracks to Rock Band 2. You actually initiate and complete the exportation process through Rock Band 1. You'll need 400 MS points spare as well for the re-licensing of the 55/58 songs you can get.

an fc is only classified as getting 100% and never breaking combo; ie: over-strumming or double hitting. Regardless of never using overdrive and never reaching 8x multuplier. But it would be stupid to not use overdrive to maximize your score, so just 100% and never breaking combo.

Well, to answer you question... you need to stay on 4x to get 100%... but, if you miss one your multiplier turns to 1x and builds back up!...
