Well, besides The Simpsons, and in my opinion, they've really taken a nosedive... But some of the newer episodes are okay...
I was recently watching the first movie and was talking to a friend. I started making exterior dialogue on certain moments in the movie and he started laughing saying I should abridge the movie. Now I believe if you love a movie, you should be able to laugh at it, would you consider me a hater for making an abridge just for laughs and not to destroy the integrity of the movie?
I suppose it depends upon the intentions of the individual, if any malice is intended. Of course, the content is something to think about, as well... So, in short, my answer to you would be, it depends upon how you see the movie, and since you want to do this "just for laughs," my answer would be, no.
