You understand that if you were going to shoot, you would have to set your feet and line it up, right? When you do that the defender will attempt to stop the shot. The game isn't reading your controller, it is reacting to your player who is obviously taking about to take a shot. You complain about a delay? That is real life, not arcade passing, which is what you seem to want.

If you like Simulation Soccer, play Pro evolution. Fifa just got better in the last couple of year, but before that we all know it was a joke compared to PES. But I will say this, unlike madden, they have kept a higher level of competition do to having a competitor franchise in Pro evolution.

Hey versuz a shooting advice if you press the left stick up(then lean it to the left or right side if you want to put the ball in an angle)and press O til it get's to the middle of the bar it is usually a good shot.Try it then say something.

the computer IA feels a little cheesed IMO. on pro, they are making crazy dribbling skills and it's hard to get the ball off of them.

World class difficulty it's even worse.

@versuz2 Aguero is a new signing at man city and came at the end of the transfer window, the demo was probably made before he became a starter which explains why he's not in the lineup. Also I recommend removing Gareth Barry and placing Yaya Toure there instead

Couple of tips when using tall strikers you always want to cross it in and to do a high through ball hold LB and press Y.

I was watching and wondering if you had ever tried Pro Evolution and then you mentioned it :)Pro Evo always had the reputation for being a better gane but the FIFA series had better graphics and more licences for player appearances etc ( not a problem as their are many places to download these for Pro Evolution). That reutation has faltered a bit in the past couple of years. I would be very interested in hearing your views and the views of others as to which is the better game now.

instead of pressing a on corners, try pressing the X button and power it up about 75%, should be a better corner for you

@versuz2 no problem. Also if you want some help on crosses in wireless controller setting turn on crossing to assisted, then you just take it down the sideline and press x, and it should deliver a good cross in for you.
