  • Omg stop talking about stupid MMA, MMA is not a martial art, it is a sport, like baseball, all they do is roll around on the ground half the time anyway!

It's just a street fight with a couple fancy moves thrown in here and there.

  • @blsdave32 I couldn't agree more.

    MMA = Mediocre Martial Ass-holes.

  • 0:00

  • idea was a woman but changed man turned the brute force of male that women can not, turn the rock.

  • People say in a street fight you would forgot your martial arts cos its serious

  • @MrJoshyBoy11 You don't "forget" your martial arts, it's just you can't use it 100 per cent...what the point is form if the other guy is all over the place? You have to improvise but knowing martial arts certainly helps. There's a vid on youtube of a martial arts guy fighting another guy using the "praying mantis" form..the other guy wont stay still long enough though so in the end he knocks him out by flailing his fists about. But still, he won...so it helps.

  • Okay, so I believe Master Wong is absolutely awesome. But for some reason, people get on youtube and become quasi experts on all things combat. Everything used in MMA comes from one or more classical systems, nothing new in MMA. MMA is very entertaining to watch. When sparring no systems resembles its classical practice appearence exactly. Please stop all the comparisons, and just enjoy the fact that we can study these wonderful things. MMA is good, and Wing Chun is good no comparison necessary.

  • @corhxf I trained Wing Chun with Austin Goh...you know the fucking legend? Well...I would take Master Wong over Austin because the problem is Austin never convinced me with his "subtle" way of training Wing Chun...dunno maybe it's a generation thing..or maybe a personal thing. What I;m saying is that with Master Wong you can SEE it works. Problem is Wing Chun was invented for women so a lot of sifu will use that as a cue to Wing Chun being a subtle martial arts..but Master Wong kicks arse. lol

  • Man you lot talk shit, just watch it!

  • Best JKD guy around. Go Master Wong!!!

  • Corhxf, im Sifu of Pak mei and Wing chun and you are Right about that, are a a clever guy, it is true what you said, Wing chun is made for survival and for the week one to protect them selves, " In Fight dont have marcy, with marcy dont fight" // Sifu M

  • right! i mean your dated classically restrictive gay footwork and set responses really have no rules..? your art is only good against another practitioner of your as far as your mind goes it's like that of a video game player, there is a ridiculous chasm between your fantasy world and the real world..fool

  • Srry you got the shaft on WT secrets bud but your mma shit is weak. I Work with mma guys and they dont ever talk shit about Tsun learn your place or youll be worm food. BJJ that shit is for the ring. Out there you go to the ground 3 pairs of boots r stamping your face. No gloves no ring no referee

  • oh yeah, and i do appreciate that sometimes its more the 'man than the system' but as Bruce Lee found, realistic fighting requires a balance between a real world mma fighting approach and the 'man's' individual talent/hard work..both needed to make an effective fighter..your mind is as a 7 yr old girls compared to the mature veteran experience of someone with real experience of unpredictable real fights..wing chun is only good against other wc fighters..wc even crap against kyokushinkai too..

  • wing chun is good against most orthadox western styls the problem comes from lack of sparring and too much focus on forms rather than under lying tactic

  • dude youre letting youre self get agrivated remember not every one works in the same way

  • that's funny cause i didn't know death was a different concept 300 yrs. ago compared to dying today. I wonder how many elbows you could take to the face or torso or even to the temple. or for that matter to the spine. or maybe punches to the throat or knees to sturnum or kicks tro the groin before you tapout. It's not dirty it life and death.

  • the foot work is practiced that way so that you dont do the nono thing move youre feet to far apart for stand up fighter very bad also in wing chuns effective range bent arm too close for boxing thee mma fighter either has to create distance or grapple the important thing is take what you youre self can use and forget the rest because it dosent work for you dos not meen it wont work for som one else

  • When you're talking about fighting, as it is, with no rules, well then, baby you'd better train every part of your body!

  • Bruce Lee Baby!!

  • Yep!

  • None WC people who constantly criticize the system, and say that MMA people would kill the average WC person in a fight and so ill logical. They forget that the origin of WC was not for sport, it was for survival; efficient survival in combat. MMA is a sport with rules and restriction on lethality. WC was not designed with rules, other than the basic rule of surviving the battle.

  • ha ha, how pathetic, master WOng is one of the better guys from wing chun i've ever seen but still he wouldn't last 30 secs against an average MMA fighter...they train to Fight, wing chun is fantasy in real situations...like to see him in MMA octagon, it would show even a top wing chun practictioner is as a child compared to an average MMA stylist...

  • Vincent4500, I made this comment about a year, and I still stand firm on what I said. Great fighting skill is not limited to any one particular art, especially MMA. In the past I have encouraged people with similar comments to test their theories. I have fought in the ring and on the streets, and understanding WC has helped me many times. I like variety, so I train in what system I can...I am a martial artists, that's what I do. Your comments are interesting, but that's about it. Take Care.

  • agreed, I do think there is good and bad in every style and i did study wing chun, i just hate the rigid and unrealistic fantasy world surrounding pure 'deadly' wing chun'..there are some excellent aspects to it but in its classical form it's silly

  • I agree that a system in and of itself is not deadly. I would also add that adaptation is essential whether in the ring or on the street. I also believe that it is the individual who makes the art functional, and not the other way around. I think that no matter what your system is, we should all be thankful that we have the opportunity to do these things. Yes, even training in the martial artist could be considered a blessings. Take Care.

  • A real fight is'nt in the ring with rules asshole

  • wtf? wing chun has 'no rules', what about it's restrictive gay looking footwork and set patterned responses? look at an average MMA fighter and you see fluidity and adaptability in the real world of movement and change, look at a classical wing chun stylist and its ridiculously rigid and unrealistic..you clearly are a 'videogame' fantasy minded geek who lives in your head..i live in reality and i think wc has things to contribute to mma, just not a greal deal..chain wc punching is b-s too!ha ha

  • looks like BS realy isnt bruce lee used wing chun punch to break board and bricks from as close as one inch many practitioners in the states lack power because they had to learn from books and had no instructer telling them how to flex their backs or shift on their heals instead if the ball of the feet so many mechanocal problems because wing chun is hard to find in most of the states

  • I think we can all agree that name calling does not advance anyone's position on the issues. Everyone understands (I hope) that martial arts were originally design for activity outside of the ring, no question. Without this creation (traditional martial arts), MMA would not be. MMA is a collection various ideas adapted for sports use, it is not logical to compare it with system that are not directed toward sport application. On the street there are so many factors that determine the outcome.

  • many wring styles transfer well to the street if you add acompanied training

  • Now that's kicking butt

  • Got a few of his dvd's - they are great. His system is very effective

  • Cool video man, give it two days for this to be awash with idiots going on about how "shit Wing Chun is".

  • cool vid
