Maaaaaaaaaaan:/ That music does NOT Compliment this Amazing Classic :/ Maybe Some Johnny cash would have been better... Or Status Quo. But please... Don't Use this type of music again??? PLEASE!
Mk3's never look right with Mk2 bumpers, the bodykit also only suited the Mk2. The original Mk3 X-Pack bodykit was the business though. Still respect for this dude doing it up himself :o)
i love ford capri's and your's if ace man and you definantly have an eye for detail but really come on whats with the filler and fibre glass, its a classic.o' v8 great move they deserve a nice v8 sound and power to them.im not a hater just think x pack should be left to the rally cars thats all.well if your in england maybe see you at a ford event laters
Ever think of changing to a 5 bolt lug pattern ? It's tons stronger and safer also you could run larger rims with low profile tires. You don't see capri's in the states anymore they were cool cars though.
could you tell me where i could get the x-pack.. any one i tried could only get the mk3 kit, thats not what i want. so if you could help i would be very grateful.
alcatraz !!! its a mk2 kit mate so as said below only bumpers will go on are the MK2 bumpers , so in no way shape or form is any of the parts are mk1 !!! mrplumitright yes m\8 the rivets always seem to come back through weather it be a month or year l8r < i gued mine in place then removed the rivets !! not a single one init now :) BEST WAY
As its a "D" reg its a late Mk3 1985-6 car? Its been fitted with the earlier 1975-78 Mk2 "X Pack" kit and the only bumpers that'll fit the cut outs in these style arches are the Mk2's. Shame as i makes the car look older. I did a fair few of these "X Pack" Capri's back in the 80's, had my own workshop which workred on big V6 Capri's an RS 2000's. Lots & lots of hours to do it properly & not a single pop rivet insight, all bonded on with special aircraft adhesive......those were the days.
@AlcatrazLives lots of people use the mk3 kit with big plastic end caps on the bumpers, this is different and gives the car a more classic look, which i think looks good, maybe black mk2 bumpers would look better than chrome tho, due to the colour scheme
Nice hidden song...lol but I would have filled out the middle of the video with an actual video of the car being driven....but...I'll give it 5 stars regardless. Great work on your capri:)

I am sure you know that the bumpers you got on it are from an older model right ? I personally think it would be a better looking car if
A - You put the black bumpers on it cos its not the MK1 model you got here ... its a MK3
B - You put wider 8 inch wheels on ... you got an x pack right ? so put some rubber underneath... you ll get the mean look ....
C - Take off those orange indicators ... put nice white ones on the bumper tinted in a light black
