2098 suckers! (sound cut out at 1000 again- is this sort of bug a regular thing in blender games- like a memory crash or something because your game examples look like you could do no wrong?!
@GerrilaGaming Strange, levels are all random so you could get to level 8 in 5 seconds of 5 minutes. I had issues with that with the music and that's why its included for background play. Sorry.
@doodlejackbod BTW..if he is working with blender than you dont have to much programming. You can make cool games without scripts just with logic bricks.
can you explain some of the programming that goes on in this? For instance, how do you do the kill count? Is it a script that is set to a text object, or an animated texture that is set to play every time a certain enemies "health" goes to zero? i'll download this and see what i can learn
@d3sertst0rm Well, the kill count functions with a simple real time text set up (script-free.) Everytime a zombie dies, it adds a plane with a property on it called zombiedead for 1/60 a second. When the Text plane is near this plane, it adds 1 to the kill counter using a property.
I got to round 11. if you hold down two direction keys(like up and left) you can go the same speed as the zombies, so you might want to fix that to make it more challenging. Great game though! It's always nice to see someone finish a game.
@salba4 Thanks, I noticed but at one point, you get tripped up by one of your guys and die. That's the only way I've died, haha. I've made it to Round 36 with 1500+ kills.
I think it's cool. I love the sound effects, and I like the idea of having your little friends come in and help out and everyone gets to blow away zombies at once.
Makes asteroids seem like a goofy concept. Work on it some more, add some texture, and I like a previous poster's idea about a browser game.
@CrazehGamer It was created on the spot in 3 hours. The main goal was to make a fun experience that didn't rely on eye candy and features for quality. If I ever do a game like this again, I'll build on the same concept but make it of the utmost quality (and spend more than a few hours on it.)

Ignore what I said about far-fetched, lol, I wasn't using correct vocabulary. :#

Seems far-fetched/half-baked I think would be the right term, lol.
Needs some graphics and elements to make it seem more of a game, but it looks good as a concept!

thats awesome :D is there a way to make it browser based? I think it would fit that criteria better.

@BlenderBug With the Blender Burster Plug-in, but it costs money.
