Joe was and still is a better sidestepper than jonah. jonah hardly ever sidestep he just runs throught the defender.

Rokocoko has NOTHING on Lomu. Lomu is by far a better wing simply for the fact that his offence was amazing and his defence was very tight. Unlike the Fijians who cannot tackle to save themselves (Rokocoko, Sivivatu) Jonah was a rock.
lomu wasn't a very reliable defender if u remember, Sivivatu & Rokocoko are fine defenders and are a mile better than lomu but everyone thinks lomu is the better defender because he ocasionally put in huge hits
Sivivatu's defense has got to be the worst out of any wingers for a long time. He's fast, but completely unreliabele. Take the first 4 try nations matches, the first 3 his mistakes led to tries, and the 4th he played rubbish.
Explain how his tackling is poor, his positional play and marking is almost non existant. And how the Irish and Australians can litteraly waltz matilda around him in the 22, to the line. He is a handicap. They should play Wulf or Tuitavake. They can tackle.
wulf and tuitavaka are great defenders there just not balanced enough in attack and unfortunately selecters want someone who is lethal in attack and can defend as opposed to people ok on attack and great in defense. besides lomu wasnt even a great defender he just made the occasional big hit
That is the thing about the selectors, they would pick someone who would score a try and then fluff a tackle and let in a try over someone who won't score nor concede. Which is flawed, because most of the tries from the last few games have came from the non wings. Which is very typical.
The All Blacks do not need a 'lethal winger' because they can get tries from anywhere. They need someone who can make sure when they are under pressure, they can hold the other teams to 0.

reckon they are both great..jonah could be a bit shit in defense sometimes tho,not many regulation tackles made..lol grab the shirt and throw em out, and if they kicked over his head he couldn't turn fast enough, but W.T.H!! when ya pull down 4 defenders everytime you get the ball....sweet!! ..roko has skillz and keeps his feet well,but not the power ..but then who does?? so like i said both great and was and is a joy and honour to watch both! kia kaha,aotearoa,gotta be our turn next!!!! for wc!

one thing lomu could ctach or hit joe any day of his life sure joe was fast lomu was faster joe is strong lomu would brush him off no matter what and last but not least joe in a one on one run up would get hit before he made a few steps this should be michael jones vs jonah becuase then there would be a close match jones could beat him min the first fifty metres then from there lomu is gone but jones could hit lomu50 50 on that tho

dude, this video is pointless, u cant compare jonah lomu to joe rokocoko. jonmah lomu is built like a brick shit house and so diverse he could play as a front row player and still outpace the whoile field, wheres as rokcoco is only fast and gets tackled most of the time. so no contest, lomu all the way.

rocks is alot quicker and smarter than lomu, rocks has skill but lomu does not tho lomu doesnt need it cos he has serious pace and he's a powerhouse. Don't underestimate the strength of joe rocks anyway have u seen some of his tackles and the way he beats some defenders?

Rokocoko has NOTHING on Lomu. Lomu is by far a better wing simply for the fact that his offence was amazing and his defence was very tight. Unlike the Fijians who cannot tackle to save themselves (Rokocoko, Sivivatu) Jonah was a rock.

lomu wasn't a very reliable defender if u remember, Sivivatu & Rokocoko are fine defenders and are a mile better than lomu but everyone thinks lomu is the better defender because he ocasionally put in huge hits

Sivivatu's defense has got to be the worst out of any wingers for a long time. He's fast, but completely unreliabele. Take the first 4 try nations matches, the first 3 his mistakes led to tries, and the 4th he played rubbish.

Explain how his tackling is poor, his positional play and marking is almost non existant. And how the Irish and Australians can litteraly waltz matilda around him in the 22, to the line. He is a handicap. They should play Wulf or Tuitavake. They can tackle.

wulf and tuitavaka are great defenders there just not balanced enough in attack and unfortunately selecters want someone who is lethal in attack and can defend as opposed to people ok on attack and great in defense. besides lomu wasnt even a great defender he just made the occasional big hit

That is the thing about the selectors, they would pick someone who would score a try and then fluff a tackle and let in a try over someone who won't score nor concede. Which is flawed, because most of the tries from the last few games have came from the non wings. Which is very typical.
The All Blacks do not need a 'lethal winger' because they can get tries from anywhere. They need someone who can make sure when they are under pressure, they can hold the other teams to 0.

There are opposition players in this video who clock 10-11secs/100m and Jonah and Rokococo leave them for dead. Go figure.
Jonah Lomu's fastest recorded time was 10.6 secs/100m, he's 195cm tall and his consistent playing weight was 118-120kgs. All well known facts. There's a good reason people think he's the model modern day player!!!
P.S. he raced Linford Christie once for charity and apparently stayed with him for the first 60m!
