@fantasticmoose It's very much underrated. I think it's every bit as good as "Casino Royale" in the way it depicts Bond's story and makes for a perfect companion piece to "Casino". There are even some things this film does better than "Casino" (the pacing in this film is quite a bit less disjointed, for instance).
@DMKelly20 The pacing is better, but in the grand scheme of Bond film's this one's plot is a bit underwhelming, if not inconsequential. I do agree, however, that Bond's subplot makes for a good payoff to Casino Royale.
@MrDarcyIsHere I don't really agree. Taking over a country's water supply, in the kind of economical state a number of countries are in, could not only prove disastrous for that country, but could also prove to be a very effective stronghold for a terrorist group as well as a VERY effective bargaining tool. Just because it's not a cliche nuclear/solar energy/"take over the whole world" plot doesn't mean it's a less than effective one (it actually brings a more realistic factor to it).
@lolli805 Oh, yeah. a desert survival expert with no sign of water for what looks like over 100 miles of dry desert in what must be over 110 degree heat, no shelter, and a 75% chance of encountering poisonous insects. Oh yeah, he'll be fine! yeah, give him 2 and a half days and i'm sure if dehydration doesn't kill him (which it will), it'll be a heat stroke. He's deader than Elvis. Expert or no, you can't survive without water. Bond threw in the final tease with that bottle of motor oil.
I would have followed his car tracks :D

Black leather in a desert??

It would be funny if he bumped into Bear Grylls out in the desert.
Grylls: "We're out of water, we'll have to drink each other's piss!"
Greene: "NOOOOOOOOO"

@vlad1375 Actually, M said that when they found Greene's body, he had 2 bullet holes in his head. Which means Mr.White probably killed him.
