He screwed over Pearl Harbor. It was practically an insult to the remaining World War II veterans.

The direction of the effects was such a mess that you couldn't really see it's quality. So no nomination for special effects.

@sonicballer8888 No you can't, because they have no narrative, or real continuity. Too many jump cuts, quick cuts, from tons of angles that feel unnecesary and jarring. I give Bay credit for learning to pull the camera back and show us the transformations, but he doesn't seem to have the balls to actually show us the visuals, imagery, and aesthetics.
