the Mammoth/Pred/APC test isn't right. APCs are trained in the half time of mammoth and sooner than the preds. same goes for zone troopers. the APC strat is actually the BEST cause the nod/scrin won't make enough Avatars/Tripods to counter them in time. if you fight black hand however and the B.hand trains a purifier (b.hand avatar) that has flamer...that's an entire different story :P

try getting rocket squads (or whatever your faction have) early, then garrison them inside foxholes made by riflemen (if you play GDI)

On a side note on the Husk management, keep a support team handy at all times when there is a risk of anyone's husks. When you have a cover team, and a capture team always behind the line, you can quickly continue that attack by capturing fallen husks. This keeps the flood rolling.

me and a friend played 2 noobs the other day on XBL on kanes wrath and while me and my friend had a nice army of mixed tier units, the opponents had 3 lines of dug in bunkers around their base. devastator war ships and brilliant counters if you dont want to get close and personnal

Stealth is a good tactic but isnt good aganist the GDI, Scrin Doesnt have detection Things

oh but it is, the trick is to take qickly take out their cougars with tanks, their snipers and zone troopers with vipers, ORCA's with surgace-air missiles or vipers and their base defenses with beam cannons or a power outage.

The cougars are the easiest because they move so fast they get ahead of the tanks and have such weak armor; but neutralizing all the "stealthbuster" units is really just a matter of good placement and being one step ahead.

the mamoths would last longer it has more firepower killing the the mamoth would be like killing 2 preditor tanks and 2 mistle squads.you should try the math on the cost of rocket launchers and preditor tanks coststo see wich would be more sufficient.i would choose 2 preds and 2 rocket launcher units because it would take 10 shots from an avatar to kill them all.but i am still wondering if they would still be sufficent if the a pred was taken out then the firepower would be cut off bye a third
