My chins mum had 3 kits, 2 were twins and their was Bubbles. She was the smallest and the most bullied as she was the female and the runt :( But she's happy and healthy now :D

First of all,yes,knowing their history would prevent from having babies with problems(although they may not show up in the parents)Also,from what I can understand,you can breed any chinchilla to any chinchilla as long as its not a Pink white to Pink/Mosiac White,or TOV Black to TOV Black/TOV.And its okay that your female is small,as long as you fiind a male chinchilla that is either smaller or the same size.Bigger male means biiger babies,wich can get stuck in the birth canal.Hope this helps :).

Yes, they are pretty easy to take care of. Water, good quality hay and pellets, and an occasional healthy treat. I have guineas and I have to clean their cage more often than the chinnies. Their "droppings" don't have as much odor I guess. Lol. I'm not too familar with sugar gliders to tell you the truth. Are they hard to take care of? My baby chins seem to be bonding with me very fast. I think it depends on how much time you spend with them and the attention you give them.

The mommy is a mosaic and the daddy is ebony. Twinkie is a mosaic like his mommy and Ziggy is a light ebony. I get the colors mixed up too since I am new to chinnies. :D The daddy is TOV, touch of violet. There's so many colors and variations. It's pretty neat! I bet you are so excited for your chinny to have her babies! You'll have tons of new born pics. The kits are so darn cute!

I know I am so excited. I'm always checking her cage to see if she popped out babies when I wasn't home or if I was asleep and didn't hear her in labor. My friends keep saying my other chinchilla, Luna, is pregnant. But I don't think so because she hasn't been with a male chinchilla. At least I don't think she was with a male. Somebody could've put her with one when I brought her to school. She's probably copying Juliet cause Luna's been showing signs of pregnancy since I brought Juliet home.

Yep, I've had my piggies for 4 1/2 years. We just got the chinnies about 2 months ago. Our piggies are from a petstore and the chinnies we bought. We did look into rescuing but they're weren't any up for adoption. That's good though! :D
