It's no wonder the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus was jampacked last night. The performance by all the actors was OUTSTANDING, Dominic Cooper was EXCEPTIONAL (I admit I didn't expect to be so pleasantly surprised)+we were all honoured to have watched an ancient Greek myth being played in this ancient theatre, unique for its acoustics, by such great talents based on Ted Hughes' amazing rendering of Racine's play. I agree with 1 of the reviews: Dame Mirren was indeed first among equals in this play.
