OMG!!! What a traggic loss for the American music industry. It is very sad how the movie & music industries seem to cause some very talented and truly great people to die so young. Her battles with drug addiction was very well publicized and it is probably the main reason for the loss of her singing voice which subsequently lead to her death, still I was very, very shocked to learn of her passing today just like I was when Michael Jackson passed away a few years ago. You will be sadly missed.

@Didireallysaythat It is indeed tragic. However, it's not isolated to the movie and music industries. The disease of addiction rears its ugly head in all walks of life. It only gets noticed when someone rich and famous with everything to live for suffers from it. The difference between the star and the average person on the street is that they don't have to stand on street corners or back alleys to cop their drugs.
