Therein lies the master in his most reflective moments...

  • Having been quite impressed by the Levin, Druce and Maunder compositions adding and interpreting to the unfinished requiem, I found a posting of the original Mozart Requiem without any additions.

  • Pretty blown away with the Lacrimosa as it cuts off...

  • Awesome even without full orchestration.

  • That's quite powerful to hear it cut off like that at the end.

  • @buffoon12345 I completely agree- and at such a climax! It can be compared to the fact he was on such a roll composing one of his most powerful works, having the composition crystallized and vibrating with resonance within his mind, until death brought it and the world of music an unexpected, indefinite, and eerie silence.
