  • Well that is because a lot of R&B artists have trouble with the phrasing of Reggae music, especially vocal wise. I have seen in a lot of shows I have done. You can tell it does not fit her.

  • We have a mind reader amongst our midst now! I think alot of you take this way too seriously and apply deep socio-economic reasoning to my opinion that she doesn't fit in the song. I am talking from a MUSICAL point of view and had you taken slightly more than the split second u did to write your comment you would see that. Alicia is a R&B artists who for all her talents does not posses a shred of Dancehall/Reggae/Roots style in her delivery.

  • shen did fit the song, they are merging music. they put an R&B twist to it, it wasnt suppose to be totally reggae, it was a mixture, and plus they did it to reach r&b lovers so he could get reconized. thats why it might SEEM as if she doesnt fit the song.
