This is an adaptation of Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor, composed centuries before Procol Harem ever wrote A Whiter Shade of Pale. The only similarity I see between the two is both women have long hair and are dressed in flowing white. Does that mean because Sarah Has done it then no one else can have long hair or wear white?

I've heard Brightman's version of this Adagio too. It's NOT the same. This one has quite a different sound, faster tempo and they sing it in different languages. Same song...different renditions. I personally know Meyra. She has always had a beautiful voice, and I feel that she has done well with herself. She is the sweetest person ever.

Personally, I don't consider Sarah Brightman a real "Opera" singer. Sarah Brightman has a Soprano "range" but not quality. Her sound is much more commercial. You want to hear a real Soprano? Check out Anna Moffo, Joan Sutherland or even Maria Callas.

After watching Sarah Brightman's Anytime, Anywhere-Adagio Albinoni, I do have to admit that there are alot of similarities between this and Sarah Brightman's video. And I can see the reason fans of Sarah Brightman wouldn't like this video. While I do think that Meyra has the potential to be a good singer, she should avoid trying to look like other artists.
