Ditto on the comment on how high the Rock is - that's a dangerous jump. I used to jump from less than half the height - before they cracked down on it - and one landing I pulled all the muscles in my leg. Brave or stupid, who's to tell? Brave if you make it, stupid if you don't.

Not only is it crazy to jump off a rock face 100m above water, but under the rock there is a collection of fallen rocks called a "Talus Slope". ALSO, the rock is a Nature Reserve zone in the park - meaning this was an illegal action - I would remove this video from youtube...

You guys are fucking crazy!! I have a cottage on Mazinaw and know how high Bon Echo rock is. If you hit the water at the wrong angle...your neck snaps!!! Fun to watch though.
I did it once and experienced considerable pain... so I couldn't give any tips on the matter. And yes, this is right above Old Walt.
