You forgot to mention that Grunt isn't affected by the shield-draining sunlight on Haestrom (Tali's recruitment mission). He's always a good idea to take on that mission, especially with the Mattock, Claymore, and his Fortification power.

I play on Insanity all the time now on Mass Effect 2 but interesting to see how somebody else does it. Grunts fight was interesting, that thing with the door he did on purpose, I thought it was a bug when I was playing on it as it always happens on every playthrough for me. Also if you stay in that one position just past the door the Krogan will only come at you one at a time making the fight a lot easier. You did make the final fight in Jack mission a lot easier, I usually die once in that.

One of the updates must have actuality made the game harder buy improving enemy shields, armor, and health. Not shore but may have made there aim better. I did insane in February 2010 and tide it 1 weak ago with the same weapons and upgrade. It toke about 30% more to kill them.

Just before u go to final area in horizon at entrance move to left or right side and look through sniper rifle u should be able to kill one of those ( forgot what they are called) before they even start to attack u but the 2 messed up lookin creatures at beginning of lvl if u can't see them send squad up a bit then call them bak and try again

No way heightened adrenaline rush is way better. Enemies more or less stand still, and the health only works when you have no shields and if you're a crap shot lol. But otherwise okay I guess.

@wizzrobe301 It's all about how you play. i find that hardened adrenaline rush is way better for assault style play, you can fire for longer and be more mobile than you would with heightened, and the decrease in damage taken makes it so that i die very rarely on insanity.

@humdrumfeast Hardened is definitely the way to go, especially if you took heavy geth shield boost. I would only take heightened adrenaline with improved geth shields as both give a damage bonus, that's pretty rad too.

On the grunt mission i had my team waiting in the room and I ran out accidentally. Door locked and my team was in the room. But those Krogans keep trying to get into the locked room to kill my teammates and I had all the time in the world to kill that damn Mech 1v1 lol.

i love how the ME2 version of the Insanity difficulty is much more harder than the ME1. When i did insanity on ME1 it was so faceroll i didnt even try that hard, but on ME2 it actually takes some time and patience to do

There is an easier way to get pass all the Geth and kill the Colossus...use the Nuke gun. It kills ALL Geth instantly. Just aim for the colossus when you enter the level and fire. BOOM.

You shouldn't use DLC for this, not everyone has Xbox live. If you don't have a shotgun, Throw kills husks instantly, plus it has a 3-sec cooldown. Warp also helps against Praetorians, so having Miranda pays off. Dominate is also a good power to have so you can pull a Harbinger and hack a Collector. Reave is also an awesome power, because it heals you, kills husks instantly, and rips through barriers/armor like Warp does.

the ammo is actually a solid metal bar and the gun shaves off a slug then magnetically accelerates it at least thats what it said in the ME1 codex they said ammo is not a problem since one block has potentially thousands of rounds its only that the gun over heats. thats why bioware decided to use these "cooling tube things" as a way to acually make you worry about your ammo while sticking to there codex

@SlayenOne The first fight? That took me like 2 hours to do. The harbringers are the hardest part since they shoot those balls that even if they don't hit you and just hit your cover will make you step back out of cover like you got hit by an RPG.
